The Iran war and Poland

In its current form the EU is an empire of clerks, with a thousand pens but no sword - as Bobko said, hopelessly impotent.

I know this is off-topic, which will cause JR to stop copulating with the assortment of Michigan trout, crappie, and bass he keeps prisoner in his basement to bring us back on track, but lines such as the above and Bobko Bobkovich's earlier line about Medvedev, makes me wonder if PF exists not for the wayward pathological ingrates, but for the wayward pathological poets.

I hopped back on just to say a thing or two about bunker busters, but I have been distracted by the mellifluous banter to stay longer than expected. Publishing houses should be prowling around this dysfunctional board.

... and it is rather leftist-leaning too.

...before Merz, for sure!

I just read some of our outraged leftist media that our new Chancellor dared to support Trump and Israel in this war, so much so that he even hindered the EU to jammer about the Palis in Gaza instead.

So...there are still wonders and miracles....a non-leftist Germany using some influence in Brussels....Iron, did you hear that??? ;)

to stay longer than expected.

You missed us all, admit it! :)

🤣 🤣 🤣

I bet that's exactly what JR is doing at the moment!

Aaaah, you are pouring honey on my ears, BB. There is still hope for Europe then.

I really like what the EU can become but today its totally useless at anything other than a trading body. Its economic policy and fiscal rules are all from the right, the trade off is that there are some mild regulations on working conditions. Unfortunately one doesnt go anywhere near enough to balance the other. But on balance I would stay in the EU.

I've said it before here but Europe needs to develop and expand its defence industries and stop subsidising foreign manufacturers. We have the industrial base and technological ability. Without Europe, specifically the Netherlands, Taiwan or any one else couldnt manufacture the highest spec chips until China catches up. Why is Poland not buying European instead of the American and Korean stuff? Is it historical or political?

I now wonder how the blooming bromance with Macron will come along....he is on a totally different boat in this regard than our Merz....

...honey on your ears? You sure?

Erm... *goes checking* ...

OK, looks like "miód na moje uszy" doesn't translate directly into English. I should have said "it's music to my ears". :)

I've said it before here but Europe needs to develop and expand its defence industries and stop subsidising foreign manufacturers.

Hear, hear.

Why is Poland not buying European instead of the American and Korean stuff?

We need tons of weapons ASAP. European industry is not able to provide the amounts of stuff that we need quickly enough. Besides, our politicians think that if we are armed to our teeth with American weapons, America won't stand idly when we're invaded (and they might be right).

😂...now that makes also abit more sense...;)

Besides, our politicians think that if we are armed to our teeth with American weapons,

Yeah....I want that black bomber....and that bunker-busting-bomb....

Enraged leftists are always good news to me. :)

I want that black bomber

As far as I know Americans never sold B2s to any country. :(

Na ja...its still something for the future to think about...

Someday your wish may come true as we are developing a replacement.

We only made 21 of them and 2 are already out of service.

20 is a whole lot more than the 8 Tu-160s we have.

You also have more B-52s than we have Tu-95s.

The Russian answer to the Raider has been hopelessly delayed, thanks to the war in Ukraine. Some geniuses, starting about two years ago, started saying we don't need it or the aircraft carrier - because unmanned systems have changed the rules of the game.

This successful American operation just gave Tupolev and Ilyushin a huge shot in the arm. Now Putin will likely accelerate the PAK DA "Envoy" program.

Turns out stealth bombers can still wreck ****, in a way that no drone ever could.

No, you don't since your enemy is imaginary. Just as Santa and Tooth chick...

Instead, see a shrink and take some Alprazolam if you can't afford Xanax.

Medvedev chickened out, did I gather that right??

No. He decided to say something to let westerners calm down.

The first tweet is far closer to what he/the russian government really think....

So many westerners think that russian values aren't that different from those in Europe or the US.... so they see things like the invasion of Ukraine as a deviation from the norm and times of relative peace as russia trying to be itself.

In actuality russia hasn't changed for hundreds of years, it's designed to be an empire that perpetually expands by military force. Anyone who doesn't realize that is just fooling themselves.... when putin said russian borders don't end anywhere.... he meant it.

Trump trying to stop the war by offering russia better trade deals was just deeply embarrassing and stupid

Not better trade deals. There is no trade to regulate.

He offered to lift all sanctions and inaugurate a new era of Russian-American friendship, mutually beneficial to both nations in the material sense.

That was the right message and the right tone.

Russians were tired of Obama's and Biden's lectures about how we should behave, without offering anything attractive in return.

Trump literally offered the ONE thing that actually moves the needle, and gives us ammunition here in Russia against the war hawks.

Now I know all of Ukraine and all of Europe wants to see Russia punished severely. Maybe it even deserves it. But do you have the stick requisite to punish us? No? Trump does - and Trump is offering us to be friends again.

Europe and Ukraine will have to quiet their bloodlust and desire for vengeance.

Yes, genius...Continuing the war and watching the KIA number go up is what we all should pray for to keep one Polish moron happy.

BTW, do you know what is really embarrassing?

It's you and your idiotic posts ... like the last one...

The whole West-german foreign policy based on that during the Cold War:
"Wandel durch Handel" (Change through trade)
....that can't have been that stupid, the West won after all!

America won't stand idly when we're invaded (and they might be right).

Well... ask any American what they think of losing customers that buy any of their military hardware cause they got invaded by somebody else and would be forced to buy from somebody else and NOT American guns anymore.

Hope you get the picture

You were never friends.

What?

America and Russia have been friends more often, and for longer, than they had been enemies.

America built up our industry. Henry Ford built Gaz, and General Electric built our power plants. John Deere mechanized our agriculture. 3M helped us develop our chemical industry.

America clothed us and provided Jeeps and Studebeckers for transport during the war.

In the 19th century, it mainted absolute neutrality during all of Russia's wars. We had a completely bloodless transfer of parts of Northern California, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska between each other.

America has cowboys. We have Cossacks. They have the West, and Manifest Destiny. We have the East, and the March to the Pacific.

Both countries are "larger than life". These expanses they define the national character, and is what makes Americans and Russians feel like they have so much to offer the world, as opposed to Belgians or Italians.

Only two countries have a vision for the whole world.

China is as rich as God, but still cannot formulate what it wants. You never have to ask Russia or America what they want. They'll provide you with a long list,

I thought you liked Putin. Why would you call him imaginary? Weird...

take Alprazolam (...) Xanax

No, thank you. I'd rather take Abrams and HIMARS.

a vision for the whole world.

What's the putinist vision for the world then? I don't mean the historic stuff: Cossacks, March to the Pacific, All Slavic Rivers Flowing to the Russian Sea etc. I mean the Putinist Offer for the World 2025. What is it?

Soviet Union and the communists had electrification, liquidating illiteracy, equality and brotherhood of workers, farmers and intelligentsia, lifting millions out of poverty, exploring space, developing all areas of science and so on. What do the putinist gold toilet sh*tters have for the world?

I'm genuinely curious.
Bobko  28 | 2445

What is it?

1) Christ as King

2) Russia First - meaning immigrants, and everyone else has to get in line first

3) Peace through strength - we have been abused and taken advantage of. From now on, we shoot first, ask questions later.

4) Death to GloboHomo. No public displays of affection by homosexuals, zero visibility for transgenders, zero propaganda of tolerance in schools, zero understanding for their pain.

5) Destruction of any supranational entities that try to control people. EU. UN. WTO. NATO. Everything else. National will - SUPREME.

I know this is off-topic, which will cause JR to stop copulating with the assortment of Michigan trout,

If you know it is Off-Topic then why can't you control yourself ?
Then top it off with a filthy diminishing remark to start a pis sing contest with me shows you have some dysfunctional childhood issues hanging on.
Sorry Aunt V, you will have to find another target today.
I still like you though

Meanwhile to get back On-Topic the Trumster is now being threatened with losing the seats in the Mid Term because of his decision to bomb without Congressional approval.
Well hell, that is like wanting to kiss a pretty girl, if you ask her she most likely will say no so you just kiss her without asking and you got your kiss.
Simple

@Bobko
1) I'm on board.
2) Reasonable, as long as that stays within Russia's border.
3) Reasonable, however, a shooting first philosophy may cause others to shoot preemptively so as not to get shot first. So, the Russian version of Peace Through Strength needs revision so as not to cause instability.
4) Hell yeah!
5) Maybe. However, not for a Putin to decide such. If so, he, in effect, is the supranational entity controlling others.

Christ as King

Boring. We have it too. Officially...

vice.com/en/article/jesus-christ-king-of-poland-876/

Russia First

Boring. Poland First is our motto since 966.

we have been abused and taken advantage of. From now on, we shoot first, ask questions later.

Boring. Are you sure you're not copying these points from Młodzież Wszechpolska website?

Death to GloboHomo.

... or PiS/Konfederacja websites?

Destruction of (...) EU. UN. WTO. NATO

OK, this one point is original but the destruction of international organisations can hardly be considered an interesting "offer for the whole world", can it?
