Why is Poland so hostile against Germany? Do they realize how their reparations rubbish damages relations?

As Poland's closest and (second) richest neighbor, you should be more interested.

How do you define a "pure bred" German anyway? This confuses me as nobody to date, German or foreigner, has been able to give me a legit explanation!

Prior to Hitler, my family had been living in German lands since at least the end of the Middle Ages.

Does that make me a "pure bred" German?LOL

Trust you're familiar with that old saw: "Was er glaubt ist Einerlei, in der Rasse liegt die Schweinerei"

@Lyzko
Wait a sec. Didn't you say they had lived in Lviv?

@Weimarer
I really don't get the reason why you think Poland is hostile towards Germany.
In fact, it's you who comes to a Polish forum talking crap about some nasty parts of history and seemingly taking pride in it.

As for your 'pure breed', Slavic and Germanic tribes had migrated all over what is now Poland and Germany in distant past. Poles and Germans (Prussians? - I really don't know when Germans were Germans and when they were Prussians or whether I should use another name). People married whether you like it or not. They were neighbours.

And you still look kind of Balkan to me. And it's not like I'm trying to insult you - there's nothing offensive about it.

Also keep in mind, that dna test won't show the ethnicity of all your ancestors.
