Your English is appalling.
Ain't your word perfect app turned on ?
No, that is what bigoted people who are mentally unstable would say.

So do YOU WANT your country to invade Panama

It wouldn't be the first time we had to give them a tune up... See below

Panama is charging the US more and allows China to "invest". That makes Panama our enemy or at least a suspect.

Trump isnt going to put up with the Chinese taking our canal.

He said there will be hell to pay if the hostages arent released before Jan 20th. The terrorist are running out of time.

Iran will free them just like before Reagan took office from the feckless Jimmy Carter, the idiot that gave away our canal for $1

Who's worse Carter or Biden?

"When it comes to the Panama Canal," the future president said, "we built it, we paid for it, it's ours, and ... we are going to keep it!"
No, Trump didn't say that, Ronald Reagan said that in 1976.
Trump has promised that if Panama does not accede to demands that it reduce shipping costs on U.S. freight, "we will demand that the Panama Canal be returned to the United States of America in full, quickly and without question.
We're not going to stand for it.
In other words, when we talk about the Panama Canal, we're really talking about something else.
When it comes to Trump, take him seriously, but maybe not literally.

@Barney
The speed of scheduling in the US is why they went. Dont know what it would be like for private in Canada, and I dont know if thats an option in their hospitals. While I generally hate the for profit hospital model in the US, in cases like this, it certainly beats anything in Canada.

@pawian
Isn't it great that I get to travel with my work? You dont like that I have insights into other countries and their people because I actually have contact with them? As for Canadian health care and traveling to the US for expedited surgery on complicated conditions, please review. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3633404/#:~:text=To%20avoid%20delays%20in%20treatment,that%20it%20works%20relatively%20well.

🇩🇰🇷🇺🇬🇱 Danish MP Carsten Hønge called on social media to seek help from Russia after Trump's statements about Greenland:

"Denmark will not agree to the separation of Greenland

In a situation of extreme escalation and tension, we need to take extreme measures and seek help from Russia to resolve this problem.

And I am sure that our request will be heard, because Russia will not allow Greenland to become part of the United States. It is as disadvantageous for Russia as it is for us."

A few hours later, for some reason, he deleted his post.

Are there any US citizens on here prepared to criticise US foreign policy.

I criticize US foreign policy on a near constant basis. US policy on Ukraine has been disgracefully slow and concern about 'escalation' (while allowing russia to freely escalate) is/was disgusting.

I knew the Iraq invasion of 2003 would be a rolling disaster as would any attempt to bring civilization to the primitive and savage Afghans

But... with China and russia both hankering for war with the US, the country needs to start thinking more strategically. Limiting Chinese influence in the americas is part of that (as is closer cooperation with Greenland and Canada turning away from its retarded policies of the last 15 years or so).

I don't like Trump personally but in trying to wake up peacetard Europeans about the threat of the dragonbear* he's completely right. I don't like his rhetoric but the aims are headed in the right direction.

*a good account to follow for russia/china intentions: x.com/vtchakarova

or as she puts it here: x.com/vtchakarova/status/1878059418585112582

Which side will you be on?

I agree but then if you allow "stop china" to justify any policy you just end up with the Cold War situation of unwinnable wars in the jungle, supporting evil regimes from Apartheid to any Latinx dictatorship that tortures trade unionists.

if you allow "stop china" to justify any policy

Let me know when that happens... the information soaked world makes the worst excesses of the first cold war much more difficult.

Yeah and its not as if Maga morons are trying to control any of the information soaking.

Surprised at some of your eccentric comments - for instance that Canadian voters need to rescued from the "retarded" policies they voted for. And all because of China ?

Yeah and its not as if Maga morons are trying to control any of the information soaking.

You mean like the democrats did under Biden with Zuckerberg now saying the White House would call him swearing and screaming to take posts and profiles down that disagreed with them? That kind of control, or something less obvious?

I didn't mention Biden - I basically agree with you.

Not everyone sees the world as a football game between two teams of old ass Americans

the world as a football game between two teams

sportification of politics is a real issue.... both sides are all about 'winning' and then they go to sleep after the victory.... this was a big problem with Trump's first administration, those on his side were happy he'd won but then mostly forgot about actually trying to establish policy and/or legislation...

generally he seems more on the ball now.... we'll see

I will also point out that the US is not the primary instigator of ColdWar II (dragonbear vs the west, or... tyranny vs freedom). The US and EU had hoped that both China and russia had joined the maritime order so that both countries could achieve prosperity... that turns out to not be the case and at least the US realizes that while too many in the EU remain mired in denial.

You sound like RuSSians.

you sound like a retard, so what? Is that some argument?
---
Once again the US should control Panama Canal. They built it in the first place, and they should maintain control over it, that is obvious.
Whoever questions it is not a wise person.

Should Germans (and even the dear old North Nigerians) control all the roads and railways they built in Poland ?

This argument is nuts

This argument is nuts

You have misconstrued my post. I haven't made an argument, it was a statement.
If you don't understand - ask, it is difficult for me to gauge my interlocutor's level of general awareness. (or interlocuteur - sounds better)

Even if local Indian tribes build it themselves it still should be controled by the US. Simple.
I can understand China having an issue with it or Russia, even India but we Westerners should know better. What is wrong with you? Have you been spoiled?
all the roads and railways

How many of them left - very few if anything.

Genial obfuscation. We are so proud of you. :):):)

Isn't it great that I get to travel with my work?

It would be great if it was true but it isn`t. You only daydream of travelling.
PS. We don`t believe one word of you. We never do in case of rightists coz they are obsessive liars. :):):)

If you mean friendly obfuscation - thank you. If you mean something else you should go and study the English language some more - Mr. English teacher.

Poland ?

This argument is nuts

Completely nuts. The canal was built in another country; the colonial era is long over, it belongs to them now and they can charge the market rate.

Odd how Americans pretend to like the 'free market' until it bites them in their plus size arses.

It is a free-market under the watchful eyes of Pax Americana.

Only because he bit more than he could chew

Exactly. And it looks like that Trump has the support of PF bootlickers to do the same.

A few hours later, for some reason, he deleted his post.

So I'm guessing it's a fake created by RuSSian propagandists. Most likely it wasn't "deleted" - it's just was never posted at all.

It wouldn't be the first time we had to give them a tune up...

So are you going to be OK with the US invading a peaceful country? I'd like to finally get a straight answer to my question and not another "blah blah":

DO YOU WANT YOUR COUNTRY TO INVADE PANAMA???

I don't like his rhetoric but the aims are headed in the right direction.

So are you going to be OK with the US invading Panama and taking the Panama Canal by force?

Trump has promised that if Panama does not accede to demands that it reduce shipping costs on U.S. freight

Didn't you read what I posted on the previous page?:

https://polishforums.com/news/poland-help-defend-greenland-imperialism-88764/6/#msg2009249

Panama is bound by neutrality agreement:

"Mr. Berg said the neutrality agreement made it unlikely that Panama would even be able to grant special rates to the United States."

Yes, in this case, I will support it wholeheartedly!

Then you are yet another hypocrite and a Nazi/Putinist-like psycho. And something like that coming from a Pole is doubly shameful and disgusting. Shame on you!
