on quality of life the gap is much narrowr
Definitely.
Also, in Poland the chance of your child dying in a school shooting is significantly lower, as well as the chance of them becoming a drug addict or contracting HIV (not to mention drowning under a mountain of medical bills or graduating from university with a ton of debt). All in all, I would say that at the moment Poland is one of the best places in the world to live, and in 15-20 years time it is very likely that it will be
the best place in terms of quality of life. Give intelligent people freedom, and that's what they do with it - they build a paradise.
The deciding factors in case of Poles are: diligence, thrift, self-discipline and overal cleanliness and order. We are the Germans/Swiss of the 21st century. :)
