Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Russia?

good enough to fight Gondor's professional armies that remain intact and alert?

We will lose Cubans, and you would lose Englishmen and Spaniards.

Ukraine caused your army so much trouble, how can you hope to fight NATO? It's pure fantasy

Well - the reason we need 11 million worth of fresh blood is not because of Ukraine. It's because 8 million Russians will retire by 2030. But we also want to grow, and create new jobs. 11 million is the number the Ministry of Labor came up with - all things considered.

As you know - our demographics are ****.

Under this kind of trajectory, by 2050 or so, Russians will be a minority in their own country.

Is this price worth it - in exchange for continued relevance on the global stage? For Russian elites certainly. For the average Russian worker, who will one day wake up and say "where is my country?" - maybe not.

Thankfully - one never has to consult the average Russian worker about anything. That is, until he puts on his little Budenov cap and sticks a pitchfork in your bourgeois guts.

That is, until he puts on his little Budenov cap and sticks a pitchfork in your bourgeois guts.

These days he would rather run away abroad, as we have witnessed already. Recruiting actual Russians to fight Poland, Finland, Germany and France might prove to be a difficult task, apart from being a suicide from the demographic point of view.

The total population of European NATO is over half a billion (600 million if we count Turkey). With US and other overseas allies it's about a billion! NATO's demographic advantage is overwhelming.

Oh, and seriously - tell Lukashenka to stop sabotaging you; you need those precious migrants that he mindlessly sends west. ;)

I wish we got immigrants from China and Korea in the same proportion as America. Even better Europeans - but they don't even emigrate to America anymore in the same numbers.

Russia is Russia - and we get the type of people that are ready to live here, and for whom it still represents an upgrade.

Future Russia will be brown, half Muslim, and bi-trilingual.

Future Russia will be brown, half Muslim, and bi-trilingual.

It's what some people say in Poland too (e.g. Marcin Masny in his recent book), that we will be brown and black or there won't be Poland at all.

The masonic civilisation of death is cruel.

I know I repeat myself but we are dinosaurs... dying out, and some people think that an important issue now is teaching playschool children about masturbation. Maybe we deserve to die out and be replaced by Muslims? Maybe there are limits to collective mental retardation and we are currently crossing them?

It is all so tiresome...

The masonic civilisation of death

The what???????

Marcin Masny

The guy with 7 kids? He says some interesting things however he's hardly objective.

teaching playschool children about masturbation

Does that happen in Poland or anywhere else in Europe? Playschool is for 3 year olds so it's hard to know how such a lesson would work if they don't know about clitoral stimulation etc.

At least Poland will never forge a strategic alliance with r*SSia, land of overt prostitution and sexual violence.

The masonic civilisation of death

Forces of evil have been on the march in the shadows, and conclusion is pessimism?

Poland needs to solidify it's reputation among German public, Dutch public, French public and Slav public in various countries.

Increase it's defence industry for a robotic army with human drone controllers, robotic engineers and human labour within agriculture with high quality foods and vital control over amounts of poison in the food sector.

All traditions, tech, know how and contacts will and can be built similar to know Jewish experts (goldsmiths, jewelcrafting etc arrived in Poland during Casimir the Great)

Gigantic opportunity for Poland not only within low skill jobs, but reshaping Poland as a bastion of hope for the hopeless in Europe.

The what?

You heard me.

The civilisation of death created by the leftist, masonic, anti-Christian forces. I told you before: we need a proper Catholic revival in Europe (you mentioned Poland and Italy as an example of Catholic countries but they can be considered such only in limited cultural sense and need revival too) or we're f*cked.

The guy with 7 kids?

I think it's eight.

Does that happen in Poland or anywhere else in Europe?

It might if Satanic mason forces of civilisation of death are not staunchly opposed.

reshaping Poland as a bastion of hope for the hopeless in Europe

Family is vital; a building block of Christian civilisation, no doubt.

But even the best family cannot fight the forces of darkness alone (whether it's 8 or 80 people). Christ and His Church are the ark in which we must seek refuge.

masonic

This is puzzling since they aren't a political organisation and in fact discussion of religion and politics is banned. BTW, there are far more lodges in Poland than r*SSia and have been for centuries.

Satanic mason forces of civilisation of death

That just sounds like ravings. Was Adam Mickiewicz 'Satanic'?

banned

Talking about things which are banned: being a Freemason is forbidden for Catholics.

The Catholic Church has consistently taught that membership in Freemasonry is incompatible with the Catholic faith, and for a good reason!

being a Freemason is forbidden for Catholics.

It's a grey area. The Vatican has an official chaplain to Freemasons in Italy (a bishop) and many of the brothers and sisters in Poland are of course RC and observant.

It's possible that JPII was briefly a member in the early 60s; several of his closest friends certainly were however the only known lodge in Poland at the time did not keep written records due to PRL persecution and there are no members alive now from that time to confirm or deny (not that they would discuss it).

and for a good reason!

What reason is that, according to you?
OP Torq  17 | 1624

It's a grey area.

Nothing grey about it. The Declaration on Masonic Associations by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith says clearly:

"The faithful who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion".

many of the brothers and sisters in Poland are of course RC and observant

They are, therefore, in a state of grave sin and on the road to eternal perdition.

What reason is that, according to you?

I agree with the reasons that the Church gives:

1. Relativism - Freemasonry promotes a religious relativism that conflicts with the Church's claim to possess the fullness of truth.

2. Secret rituals and oaths - Seen as incompatible with Christian truth and transparency.

3. Naturalism - Freemasonry often emphasizes human reason over divine revelation.

4. Historical opposition - Many Masonic lodges have historically opposed the Church and promoted secularism.

In other words, freemasonry is incompatible with Catholicism.

Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith says clearly:

Yet Masons, including priests and bishops happily celebrate mass.

The RCC also 'bans' contraception yet most Catholics use it.

Freemasonry promotes a religious relativism that conflicts

It does not promote anything.

Secret rituals and oaths

Neither the very simple ceremonies nor the very simple oaths (not btw the bloodcurdling ones that antimasons pretend) are secret. You can literally by the ritual books in bookshops.

Freemasonry often emphasizes human reason over divine revelation

Emphasises.

It takes no position on either. ChatGPT (not as far as I know a Mason in good standing like Adam Mickiewicz was) has misinformed you.

Many Masonic lodges have historically opposed the Church and promoted secularism.

Only a minority of lodges in France which stand outside mainstream Freemasonry take any sort of position on any religion and none oppose any religion.

freemasonry is incompatible with Catholicism.

Since it is neither a belief system nor a political current, it is not incompatible with anything.

You didn't answer the question, were Adam Mickiewicz, Janusz Korczak and Cardinal Potocki 'Satanic'?

Yet Masons, including priests and bishops happily celebrate mass.

Oh, a lot of priests and bishops suffer in hell and many others will. Nihil novi.

The RCC also 'bans' contraception yet most Catholics use it.

It is also nothing new that many of those who consider themselves Catholics do not follow the Church's teachings.

Emphasises.

Whether one uses British or American spelling is irrelevant. English language is too primitive and vulgar to worry about its regional spelling or grammar variations.

were Adam Mickiewicz, Janusz Korczak and Cardinal Potocki 'Satanic'?

It is a strange question. If Mickiewicz and Potocki died as masons, in a state of grave sin, then they are indeed with Satan at the moment. Not sure about Korczak; he was Jewish so maybe he wasn't aware of masonry's inherent sinfulness.

It's what some people say in Poland too

Unless people suddenly start making more children - and I mean RIGHT NOW - this end result is sort of baked in. We only have to sit and wait for it to come to be.

People don't say that "demographics is fate" for no reason. Present day patterns, are a 100% accurate indicator of where you will be in 10-20-30 years. So if you don't fix things or discover that you are unable - all you can do it sit and wait, and hope the browns will be nice to you and your kids.

As for the elites - they don't care.

Russians will always control Russia. Poles will always control Poland. WASPs and Ashkenazim will always run America.

All the brown people will be below the white Russian and Polish elites.

It's the Polish and Russian lumpenproletariat that will have street fights with immigrants, stage marches for racial purity, etc.

Elites are global - and have long since stopped caring about their home populations.

And 'emphasizes' is, in fact, the more correct spelling. The online Cambridge lists it first (giving 'emphasise' as a British variant)

It is not "inherently sinful". And no guidance from that particular religious denomination has ever been pronounced Ex cathedra.

Nah.... I like American English just fine but I have little (or no) feelings toward "English" as an abstract entity... and overuse robs it of precision and clarity (both of which are needed for richness and nuance).

A particular variety of English can be nuanced but at an international level.... it doesn't work.

That's true.

I quite like the way people speak in the Deep South, and if you know it, I'm sure you like Alan Bennett.

It's hard to think of the way it's used in Poland etc as English at all, "trainings" (yuck) etc...

I don't associate myself with the people, in the same way you do - perhaps.

For me - it is more important that Russia remains an independent pole within the world.

If we restrict immigration, and die out like the Spartans - some Roman will one day come and bulldoze us.

Sparta and Athens lost to Rome, because they restricted military service and public service to Athenian and Spartan citizens.

Even Pyrrhus, God of War that he was, eventually ran out of manpower - and today we have the term "Pyrrhic Victory". As he said - "One more victory like this - and I'm done for."

For every army that Pyrrhus destroyed, Rome raised two more. When it started running out of men to throw into the meat grinder, Rome simply expanded citizenship - and gained access to hundreds of thousands of more recruits.

In whose world do we live today - Rome's or Athens'?

We have as many kids as God in his wisdom decided to give us :)

:)

Do you know how many things have been pronounced ex cathedra (i.e. invoking papal infallibility) in the Church's history?

Apart from ex cathedra declarations there is also ordinary and universal magisterium that defines dogma and teaches the faithful, and it says being a mason is a grave sin.

In the same way demographics is destiny - manpower is determinant.

Even in the age of drones, robots, and ai - you need boots on the ground to occupy territory. No drone will perform the job of occupation for you.

Infantry - salt of the Earth - has always won wars, and will continue in this role. Nothing can defeat infantry - not air, not sea, and not even nukes.

as God in his wisdom decided to give us :)

Just as God created Freemasonry. In the medieval era it was quite religious, cathedral builders and all.

Do you know how many things have been pronounced ex cathedra

Yes. Two, and both of them faulty.

As far as 'grave sin' is concerned, "shaking hands with the unemployed" is supposed to be a grave sin though nobody mentally healthy and/or over about 21 would bother to confess it nowadays.

In a shop by the Vatican, I once saw one of those lists of sins that are meant to edify/terrify the faithful. One of the things on the list said "I have cast my eyes upon the hindquarters of a dog".

The only real sins are things that make you less whole, generally going against the precepts enjoined in the Sermon on the Mount.

Easily learnt and spoken by anyone with an IQ of a bar stool

Not quite that easy and even you, who write it well and precisely, avoid quite a lot of structures, even common ones, in writing.
