Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Russia?

I would put this list rather into the "got fat, dumb and careless" - category because of lack of a real rival. Decades after that groundbreaking victory!

In Siberia the government has been mass culling cattle claiming some disease needs to be controlled but not being clear about which disease and often farmers are given no paperwork confirming a diagnosis and compensation? ha! this is russia, peasants don't get compensation... what are you, a communist or something?
