nicely. During Ice age Europe was Balkan. Balkan was only zone of Europe able to support development of civilization. Rest of Europe was 2 km of tick ice or tundra. People gathered on Balkan, language formed, culture and name of the people. Yes, name obviously because after Ice melted and people started spreading to populate rest of Europe from Balkan along the net of rivers, name of Serbs covered entire Europe. Often name retreated in front of new names of people, while most stubbornly continued to live on Balkan and on the Balkan-Baltic line. Even now, Balkan is in essence ethnically Serbian.
