Of course there are a few places, forests, swamps, etc, where there aren't many roads, but you can also find such places in northern, southern and western Poland.

Much fewer. I live in Poland. It's you who visits it.

the Polish taxpayer will be footing the repair bill.

That's what I said. I live, work and pay taxes in my motherland.

That's if you can even read Polish lol

I've been living in Poland since before you were born. And I've seen a lot more of it than you, that's how I know that in the vast majority of eastern Poland the road network is denser than it is in western places such as the areas south of Slupsk.

That's if you can even read Polish lol

I fear it is you that cannot read Polish. That article says that "bridges turned out to be lower than had been expected", nothing about Americans wrongly calculating the height of their vehicles.

According to Virtual Polska the Polish people are disgusted by the behaviour of US troops.

sure they are. Poles are sane. Sane and wise, no matter all experiments on them committed by all kind of sinister spin doctors.

BDW, bodri brate iz ponosne i premudre Crne Gore, in connection to this topic, do you follow development of Serbian and Greece relations after recent expressed appetites for Greater Albania (Shqiperia)? Greece and Serbia formed joint High Council (Greek PM Tsipras said that Serbia and Greece activate their 150 years old alliance) to monitor the situation. Meaning, if Shiqiftars tries something, Greece and Serbia hammering them. Also meaning, NATO collapsing considering that are both- Greece and Shiqutaria NATO members. By the good and merciful God, NATO would collapse and with it all the sh** would be awashed.

I would increase my prayers to God that Poland abandon NATO, while time. Otiće sve u tri pičke materine, let us pull Poles out from that sh**!

My message to Russians!!!

We all know how would this finish. This time! This time, Poland to stay intact! Go fu** yourself if anything happen to Poles! I don`t care how but found way. Found way to f** Britain, France and Germany without harming Poland. If Poland is harmed I would be assured that it was deal and I would blame Russia.

We all know that its not Poland who initiated worldwide terrorist network, Poland din`t initiated collapse of Yugoslavia and partition of Serbia, Poland didn`t invented idea that NATO encircle Russia, Poland din`t want that EU and NATO police the world. Poland is innocent. Innocent! Practically a victim.

Thank you

Not to worry Crow.
The United States has Poland's back with superior fire power over Russia.
Watch this video taken in Zagan Poland that is not a training exercise but a message to Russia.

I've been living in Poland since before you were born.

I'll just laugh at that. You have no idea how old I am dude. I have travelled Poland from West to East and North to South more times than years you have been a guest here.

That article says that "bridges turned out to be lower than had been expected", nothing about Americans wrongly calculating the height of their vehicles.

Just lol. It says exactly that and that means both that the bridges were too low for their vehicles AND their vehicles were too high for the bridges.

By the way. You live/been living in Poland for decades and still can't speak the language? Are you handicapped in some way?

You have no idea how old I am dude.

Your posts make it very clear.

It says exactly that and that means both that the bridges were too low for their vehicles AND their vehicles were too high for the bridges.

Kindly point out the part of the article which supports your claim that "Americans damaged several bridges and viaducts by wrongly calculating ... height of their vehicles". Thank you in advance.

Knowing Poland as I do I wouldn't be at all surprised if the stated height of the bridges was higher than the actual height (as happened in Warsaw a few years back when PKP's new trains wouldn't fit in the tunnel under the centre of the city).

Are you handicapped in some way?

Ah, off-topic ad hom trolling, the surest sign that somebody knows he's lost a debate here. Thank you for letting us know.

@Harry
Not trolling but "Your posts make it very clear."

It's the Yanks who didn't know the route they'll be traveling on. You can even read the interview with one of the US Army officials saying that (well you can't read Polish lol). Dyrekcja Dróg i Autostrad knows parameters of all bridges in Poland.

It's the Yanks who didn't know the route they'll be traveling on

If they didn't know where they were going, how could they have done any calculations at all regarding height of vehicle to bridge relationship??

Oh wait, I think you mean, that they lacked data regarding the heights and when they came to the bridges, they took a chance and went under them and then got stuck. Is that it? Poor training, that's the reason for that. British soldiers wouldn't have done that I'll bet.

Of course I mean that. It's clearly stated in the article I linked. One would assume Harry after many many years spent in Poland (more than me. A native Pole) could easily read that.

It just show the overall competence of American soldiers who are supposed to defend us all. LoL

I don't think they'll be sending any of their brightest and best to Poland. It's all mouth and trousers, just a bit of huffing and puffing and showing off. They don't expect to actually see any action so they can send a few greenhorns and a couple of officers who look good in a nice dress uniform.

Your claim was that "Americans damaged several bridges and viaducts by wrongly calculating their height and height of their vehicles". Support the bit about them incorrectly calculating the height of their vehicles.

I don't think they'll be sending any of their brightest and best to Poland.

The ones I've met all seemed very pleasant, certainly a big step up from the Polish squaddies that roamed Slupsk when I lived there.

Support the bit about them incorrectly calculating the height of their vehicles.

Jeez. Even my dog would understand it by now.

They knew the height of viaducts. They knew the height of their vehicles. They CALCULATED the gap between the roof of a tallest vehicle and the "ceiling" of viaducts before planning the route. Since they based their CALCULATIONS on incorrect data they MISSCALCULATED and got stuck under a bridge.

I am now quite sure of your disability

nato-shows-off-firepower-at-not-just-a-training-exercise

Horrible.

What you mean, don`t worry? How couldn`t I? If any Yankee maniac, under some drugs (or deluded by some sinister or crazy Anglo general), fire some projectile on Russian side of border, what can happen? That is clear example how NATO leading powers, how did Obama, put Poland in danger. Biggest horror is that Poles again depend on somebody else and not on themselves and it is exactly what they wanted to avoid.

But, I suppose, NATO would at least have that dignity to remain on those plains and fields close to Russia`s border. Good. Far from Polish urban and rural areas. Its perfect. Russians would cleanse them easily enough. That way they for sure won`t harm Polish civilians. That`s enough for me.

Since they based their CALCULATIONS on incorrect data

So they were provided with incorrect data by their Polish hosts. There, it didn't take you too long to finally admit that, did it.

Hahaha.

I was actually talking to an American serviceman from San Diego last week. Once he'd stopped swearing about the Chargers we sampled a couple of Stone beers from their Berlin brewery, which he rated as highly as the ones from home, then we sampled a couple of Polish beers of similar type. I can't say I ever saw any soldier in Slupsk drinking for any purpose other than getting drunk.

Nope. They didn't ask Poland for any data. It is clearly stated by the American official in the article I linked before (your Polish must be awful even after so many many years in Poland). They didn't update their Intel which proves how incompetent they really are. Their Intel sucks. Their logistics suck. And seeing the tank ammunition flying off their vehicle and onto the road their drivers suck too.

Slupsk

Poland isn't just Słupsk. Seeing you mention that town very often it seems you haven't seen anything else.
Harry

They didn't ask Poland for any data.

You need to get your story straight. First you claim that they had incorrect data and now you claim that they didn't ask for data. Just like you first claimed that they miscalculated the heights of their vehicles and then you say that they knew the heights of your vehicles.

Their Intel sucks. Their logistics suck. And seeing the tank ammunition flying off their vehicle and onto the road their drivers suck too.

Does the above show that your ability to pick a story and stick to it sucks?

First you claim that they had incorrect data and now you claim that they didn't ask for data.

Omg. They based their planning on the information they had from like 30 years ago. They didn't bother to update it.

Talking to you is like trying to make a chimp recite Pan Tadeusz. No wonder why you have that reputation here on PF.

See now the I.R.A. would have listened to Father Ted and just blown up the tunnel and made it bigger.

Things are escalating slowly and soon Poland will be very happy there are American G.I.'s stationed in Poland.
AVDIIVKA, Ukraine - Ukraine reported Wednesday that at least one soldier was killed overnight and more injured in the country's east as heavy fighting between government troops and Russia-backed rebels continued.

Such a stupid statement. As if we all don`t know who creates public opinion, who should be happy with something or who should be sad with something. Even then, unfortunately, Poland is Poland and Poles are Poles, as we see by every new day more and more.

They based their planning on the information they had from like 30 years ago.

I know you weren't alive at the time, but 30 years ago the USA and then communist Poland were officially enemies, on different sides in the cold war. It is very unlikely that Poland would have then given the USA data which enables US forces to quickly travel throughout Poland.

Also, when you do finally visit Poland, you'll notice that virtually none of the motorways and expressways that cross the country are 30 years old. There has been a lot of road development since the end of communism, so a lot of bridges have been built since then. It is simply not credible that US forces used data from 30 years ago when planning routes.

Yaaaaawn. Still they didn't do their homework and your excuses change nothing. You can't argue with facts and pick on other things. I regret that I didn't say "ages old informations". You'd then pick on it and tell me that ages ago there was no Poland and first homosapiens sapiens were living in Africa.

Bridges they damaged were not on motorways.

You bore me.

Now, get back to topic

So, in a thread that celebrate mutual destruction of Slavs, from now on, I organize great party that call for mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence of Slavs. Yes, that way we would be perfectly on topic, like in a kind of democratic parliament. One suggest hate, other suggest love.

Down with hate! Long live love! Slava!

Poles and Russians to shot at each others? Is that the plan? No, it won`t be. It won`t happen. We Slavs can know it better. We have our differences and we have our mutual interests.

No tears to Slavic child! Shame on all who have at least drop of Slavic blood in its veins and think of this possibility

world wide, you say? Could this be truth? well, glory is glory. See, you are anonymous. Nobody knows of you. Believe me. Nobody.

And yes, I am against Slavic self-destruction. I salute all our Slavic differences and embrace them. Not that we Slavs are perfect but, that is my civilization.
