American GIs troops finally in Poland and, thank God, there's more to come

Thousands of US and Allied troops have been rolling into Poland in what is Europe's biggest such military build-up since the end of the cold war. Code-anmed Atlantic Resolve, this large scale deterrent to Russia's aggressive activities and bellicose posturing is bringing together NATO troops from the US, Canada. Britain, Germany and Romania. The operation is headquartered in Poland from where battalions will be despatched to the Baltic states and various Polish locations.

In Warsaw concern has been raised by certain statements of President-Elect Donald Trump who has repeatedly indicated he wants to cooperate with Putin in solving different international issues. If the Russian leader agrees but only on condition that NATO troops and hardware are rolled away from the Russian border, how will Trump respond?

@Polonius3
It's nothing but aggressive and provoking move from USA. It's nothing but occupation of Poland and other countries.

Fcuk both USA and Russia equally.

USA should get out of NATO

Its a waste of US tax dollars, especially when other countries dont pay their fair share.

Fcuk the UN as well, kick those lying, thieving bastards out of NY and defund!!!!!

Then, it will only be a matter of time before Europe comes begging the US to defend it again.
Because all those little Eurocountries can't and never will get along with each other...lol

How about it, Comrade NTF

No problem. We have to be independent on all. We can freely cooperate with both Russia and USA without their armies present in our country. Putin knows he can't touch Poland. Hopefully Trump will see that too.

That is indeed a good news for Poland.

It's nothing but aggressive and provoking move from USA.

I told you already - take your meds before you post here.

It's nothing but occupation of Poland and other countries.

Really? How come? Anyway it doesn't even make sense - what other countries are being 'occupied' due to presence of the US Armed Forces in Poland?

Fcuk both USA and Russia equally.

ja ...stop pretending you love Russia, probably Putin is your hero, are you Russian yourself?

USA should get out of NATO

Whoa my little pony! Are you a teen?

Putin knows he can't touch Poland.

Yes indeed especially as you're against guns. I'm sure you and your mates will defend Poland with you frying pans, colourful T-shorts and most of all by signing kumbaya:

I'm a soldier so I'll be provided with a gun

I highly doubt that because if a soldier ever called their weapon a gun they would be marched around the base holding their cock in one hand and their weapon in the other shouting, "THIS IS MY WEAPON AND THIS IS MY GUN........ THIS ONE IS FOR KILLING AND THIS ONE FOR FUN" !

You sure the hell aren't an American soldier son.

Im just joking around about nato come on:)
Trump will be a better friend than Obama could ever be and won't throw you under the bus like he did to Israel!

I believe Trump isn't afraid to take on Putin. Unlike Obama`s feckless "red lines" the whole world takes advantage of this weak President.

He's a minion of King Twitler, what do you expect? ;)

Hey, The Kangaroo Klown is back! LOL

THIS IS MY WEAPON AND THIS IS MY GUN........ THIS ONE IS FOR KILLING AND THIS ONE FOR FUN" !

Fifteen dollar too beaucoup...how about five dollar,

btw... this ones for fighting this ones for fun

Even if the United States did dissolve NATO they wouldn't throw Poland under the bus.
Many Polish soldiers trained here in the U.S. last summer in joint efforts.

this ones for fighting this ones for fun

Ah yes, thanks for refreshing me on that as that was 45 years ago and I am very forgetful in my old age.
Point was I highly doubt that "you know who" is a soldier or he would have known better then to call his weapon a gun.

After Trump threatened to leave NATO, I thought some countries bellied up and started paying again. So now he`s happy??
I didn't check up on this.....

The only "bellicose posturing" I've seen over the last decades was done by US/NATO.
If you have been paying attention, everything NATO does is a provocation with the goal of instigating a new war.

Look up some history, the US have led about 200 wars since they came into being, and they started almost all of them, some without any reason and "justifying" them with blatant lies (Saddam, anyone?).

I know Poland has had some really bad, traumatic experiences with Russia way back, but time moves on, the Russians of today are not the ones from then, and supporting ungrounded, aggressive warefforts by the US because of some piece of history is about as smart as Germany destroying itself because there were Nazis 80 years ago.

Shame, I thought eastern European countries were smarter than their gullible western counterparts.
(And don't bother trolling with "are you Russian". I'm not.)

28 years and counting, not so much "way back"

ussians of today are not the ones from then

No they just support invading a neighboring country whose borders they had agreed to honor 20 years earlier.... That sounds like the same old Russians to me....

You have to be an awful retard to want foreign troops on your own soil
mafketis 36 | 10,975

This is Poland, the question is not "do you want foreign troops on your soil?" but "which foreign troups do you prefer to be on your soil?"

Better NATO than Russia....

You know, let me tell you, just for the sake of truth, that those were antic Romans who first started to introduce black warriors (soldiers) on European soil, when they defended their interests. USA obviously keeps to continuity of this approach.

So, go look what Romans done to Dacians (Sarmatians) in what is now Romania. You want that to happen to Poland, just give time to USA.

which foreign troups do you prefer to be on your soil?

Look! The true voice of cowards and traitors have spoken!

Everytime Poland has allied with one force against the other she suffered badly. It is time for us finally use our geopolitical location to our advantage. We should cooperate within the same set rules with as many other countries as possible. World doesn't have to be bipolar. It can be multipolar with all countries being sovereign and free.
Crow 155 | 9,030

yes. Its only way that Poland legitimately have rights to have interests in Poland, on its own soil. Every country in the world is in same position. Then we can talk about anything else but this is essence.

Take Balkan as example. Why is that normal that world powers or players such are Turkey, Britain and Germany have their interests on Balkan, that is above interests of countries in the local? Its not normal.
mafketis 36 | 10,975
10 Jan 2017 #24
Because the Balkans have earned a reputation as an instable place full of belligerent peoples whose borders overlap each other and who constantly want to fight each other for dominance.

It wouldn't be a problem except that Balkan conflicts have a habit of expanding and costing millions of non-Balkan lives.
Crow 155 | 9,030

On the contrary. Forcible imposing of foreign interests on Balkans initiates constant friction.

There is no non-foreign intereest in the Balkans, the religions and languages (except for Greek and maybe Albanian) all originate elsewhere.

aggressive and provoking move

You sound like NAZ'TO-bashing Crow! In your books Russia's Anschluß of Crimea in flagrant violation of its nuclealr treaty with Ukraine was not a provocaiton? Buzzing NATO warships enagaged in exercises in international Baltic waters was not a provocation. The effective annexation and creation of artificial countries in Donbas and Georgia was not a provocaton, nor banging on about the poor allegedly mistreated Russian minority in Estonia?

The American/NATO military presence in and around Poland is the greatest thing that ever happened to this country. Never in history has Poland been this secure.

Blessings on you dobri pane Administratore, to stop his nonsensical provocations.

There is no non-foreign intereest in the Balkans, the religions and languages (except for Greek and maybe Albanian) all originate elsewhere.

My dear, only Polish interests are expelled from Balkan, no matter that we Serbians opposed to it. Only us, Serbs. And who expelled those Polish interests here in the region? Let me tell you. No, not the Russia. Didn`t even try. Russians knew that Serbians guard balance between their and Polish interests. So, Britain, France, Germany, Vatican and Turkey always worked against Polish interests here. Recently, USA and Saudis, too. As for people in the region, here, Sshiptars are mortal enemy of Poland. Then comes the Croatia. Plus, hand on heart, only once Vatican didn`t show agressive stance on Polish interests and it was before WWI, when Vatican opposed to Austro-Hungarian war on Serbia. Every other Vatican`s performance here was deeply anti-Polish. Practically, with leg on Polish interests. That big is that love. Not to speak how trustworthy are Polish western European friends. In a blink of an eye they would destroy Poland if just possible. They must had just nicely asked Poland to get the f*** from here with Polish interests.

That about it.

Then, mafketise, what are you talking about? What religious interest defend Anglos here? No Protestants here. Not a single one. Then, what you didn`t understand from mu previous comment? I said (above citation): ``Forcible imposing of foreign interests on Balkans initiates constant friction.``. Islam penetrated by force. Catholicism was forcible imposed on Orthodox Christians. Christianity before spiting (before schism) was forcible imposed on non-Christian native Slavs (ie Sarmatians). Byzantine as much had strength tried to force Orthodoxy on Serbians and Bulgarians. Competed with Rome after shism. Greeks considered themselves to be Gods and Slavs to be inferior. On all that add penetration of germanization. But final madness was committed on Serbians from whom western Europe and Turks extracted additional 3 ethoses- Croats, Bosnian Muslims and Montenegrins, at the same time ignoring every rights of Serbs (no matter Catholic or Orthodox) living in what is now Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro.

So, no my dear, if we talk about Anglos, they defend their selfish interests here, their economic interests. They think to have right to have economic interests here and that Serbs don`t have same right even in Serbia. But, what is enough is enough. We Serbians would end that Anglo and every other arrogance here. This is Slavic South. Southern Gate of Sarmatia.

One never know. Anglos have colonial past. Maybe they stay to protecting Poland in another 100 years.

Plus, let me see,... how much time Romans needed to transform Dacian Sarmatians in what is now Romania,....
