Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 27

and yet, when lumpenproletariat is sick and tired of having to eat cakes instead of bread, the heads of the elites are rolling from the scaffold.

Even then, the blade of the axe is guided by other members of the minority.

Look the French Revolution, or Russian Revolution to see the truth of my words.

Even in Rwanda, amidst a chaos where Tutsis and Hutus were butchering each other with machetes... there was a hand behind the curtain guiding this.

The "human mass" - is simply incapable of organizing itself - by definition.

There is a universal truth about it: only 20% of any given society is capable of leading and formulating its own goals and aims. Most people follow this or other factions, while the bottom 20 percent consists of individuals who are often unable to contribute creatively, including those who engage in criminal behavior.

Most people follow this or other factions,

....must'n be such a bad thing!

Imagine the contrary....a world full of powerhungry egoists....we would have been absolutely unable to plan, to develop, to build anything at all....always fighting each other, down to the smallest man....no spiritualism, no economy, no nations...no working together towards a common goal...just a mass of neverending loud chaos!

Oh Gott!

...we need them followers too....

@Bratwurst Boy

Spoken like a true German.

Indeed, direction is important. The spirits and energies of the "people" must be guided, unless you want results that will remind you of living in a horror film.

When the "people" are given free rein, it inevitably ends in a pogrom (read: bloodbath).

The "people" are stupid and not to be trusted in any circumstance.

....maybe we humans were just never made to live that closely with so many other "kin" in one place....

The "people" are stupid and not to be trusted in any circumstance.

As the Good Book says...

"None is righteous, no, not one;
no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good, not even one.
"

Romans 3:10-12

Are you saying I claim righteousness?

Are you saying I claim righteousness?

All I'm saying is that most of the things you say are surprisingly biblical for a Marxist.

All I'm saying is that most of the things you say are surprisingly biblical for a Marxist.

Dialectic materialism is a useful framework for understanding the world, and its history.

Without Hegel and Marx, we'd still be swimming in romantic "Great Man" interpretations of history....

Marx is a genius, and Lenin - his follower - twice the genius - because he dealt in practical reality.

Just because I don't like the end result - does not mean they were not great men.

-//-

But I have an American education, which also emphasized texts of "Western Civilization". Plato, Aristotle, St. Augustine, Aquinas, Maimonides, etc.

So I'm not happy when Marxists treat the Bible and classical philosophy as "feudal ideology", "primitive historiography", or as "false consciousness".

-//-

I can interpret the Bible and the Patristic Texts on their own terms, without putting on my "scientist" hat and savagely critiquing them. As my father would do.

I belong to two worlds :)

The "human mass" is simply incapable of organizing itself - by definition.

That's exactly why I have nothing but contempt for the "silent majority", "live and let live" spineless worms, "I have no opinion" slime, and "I am too busy" gutless bootlickers...

Russia's case would be a dream for any lawyer if it ever made it to any courthouse. On historical and moral grounds...even better...

That's why Russia haters here never argue the legality of what Russia is doing - yes, it's 100% legal and justified, azzholes - but are always ready to insult Putin, the smartest guy on the political scene ever...and posters like me who dare to buck the trend...

The DC scum knows it, and that's why the US presstitutes never, ever mention the referenda in C+4. Only that 3 civilians died in Kiev today ...BFD...while conveniently forgetting the civilians who died in K, V, I, and A ...with zero justification beyond puke-inducing "freedom and democracy" excrement ...BTW, I hope I killed that stupid phrase here for the rest of PF's life.

The "human mass" is worse than what you said. Not only are they sheep and potential useful idiots, but they can be easily talked into acting against themselves. See Gays for Palestine.

I already covered this perverse anomaly before, so I will skip it now.

you say are surprisingly biblical for a Marxist.

Both are full of lies for the gullible to accept and follow.

They are contemptible "worms"... but we must pay them respect and pray at their altar, because... "they are the source of all power".

Others will tell you, "there is no truth, deeper than the folk truth".

So we have to play this kabuki theater, where we all dance around and kowtow to the "people" and their "infinite wisdom".

It has always been this way. Except for in Singapore, maybe.

Bollox.

You're a good Christian, like BB (even if you're both in denial). :)

My "Christianity" died 1700 years ago. I don't like this Christianity now.

The first thing we must decide when discussing big-picture issues is the primary reason why we have governments, good or evil.

The answer: The primary reason we have chiefs with big fists is to assure the survival of the tribe, not everybody's happiness.

Everything else is secondary, including how many little girls died today.

That's why I celebrate when some azzhole overdoses and dies. His family is now a lot happier and financially more secure...

I don't like this Christianity now.

Are you kidding me? There are so many different denominations that literally everyone can find something for himself. 1700 years ago your choice was much more limited, to put it mildly.

But Christ is still the same...

I recommend you read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.

The primary reason we have chiefs with big fists is to assure the survival of the tribe, not everybody's happiness.

Protection is important...

True enough - these guys in the past were always the biggest, scariest, most ruthless "motherf*ckers".

-//-

Happiness is much different. Sometimes it overlaps, but many times it suffers at the expense of "security".

-//-

The main reason we have "chiefs" is that they channel the popular will.

They manage to take into account the interests and views of "Bob the Loser and Introvert", "Mike the Beast", "Susan the Caretaker", and "Jimmy the Kid" - and synthesize all this into a coherent plan, that leaves the everyone unhappy, but satisfied.

But the Christ is still tbe same...

My Christ, is the God that was nailed to a cross

...and for that, SURVIVAL, you need them followers!

Without followers any Chief would be just another wannabe loudmouth....

I like atheists more...You can reason with them...

A believer may hear "Kill Novi" and I am dead...An atheist hears things only when he gets drunk, falls, and bangs his head on a nightstand.

That's what happened to me in 2017 in Poland.

You got me here...Let me think things over and rephrase...

Individually, the solution is simple: Go where you are safer...That's why I am very happy that Bobko is here, my pro-Russia stance notwithstanding.

If you decide to visit, dinner in NY with Bobko is on me.

I like atheists more...

One of my favorite authors, Kurt Vonnegut, at his funeral a guy began a speech with:

"Well, he's in Heaven now!"

The audience erupted in cheers and laughter.

Atheists are the most decent people, in many occasions.

We do the good things we do, not for any promise, but because it's right.

One benefit of being an atheist ...

You will never hover up above, looking down, and seeing some azzhole in bed with your wife, getting ready to drive your red Corvette...

One big benefit of an atheist - is you have a more certain understanding of his bravery.

If this guy is willing to go and die, knowing full well there's nothing else waiting for him... then you know you have a real guy before you.

Contrast this to some guy who thinks he's going to Heaven afterwards, and that's why he will do it.

Who will you trust more?

Russians just lie and lie and lie and lie again! Putin claimed that Russia had taken Pokvrosk..... another lie from the smelly horses mouth.....

This is the truth.....

The Russians are lying to try to influence America and Europe that Russia is winning the war in an attempt to broker a better deal.
It won't work..... Russians are idiots.....
