WAGNER group in modern times
Russian soldiers providing additional soldiers against Ottoman Empire for Austria, only to watch as Russia loses at battle of Crimea to British troops.
Russia facing tons of casualties fighting Napoleon with soldiers for the status quo of the tyrannical leaders of Europe that thought they had a divine right to rule and basically be unchristian.
Was it not Russias troops again to be sent to Belgium to fight down Radicalism that sparked a Polish uprising?
Was it not Russian troops dying left and right during ww1 and ww2 to the comfort of western citizens who experienced minimal discomfort compared to French, Soviet and Polish civilians?
Was there no Soviet soldiers aiding China? Korea or Vietnam in the Cold War? :)
Russia has been providing many countries with it's soldiers on her own initiative or others. Paid by contract or not.
