Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 23

Which guarantees that they will lose this war.

Define Russia's losing this war. I can easily define Russia's win:

All U troops out of Russia

No NATO in Ukraine in the next 50 years

This is the reality of the new life in ******;

Apparently they now have shortages of food and basic medicines.

Apparently they now have shortages of food and basic medicines.

Spit into the ugly lying face of someone who told you that. ;) No problem with food. Even for really low income people.

Problem with medicines is not because it lacks in pharmacy stores, it is just because the same thing that I seen while lived in Spain is adopted in Russia - you now need (mandatory) prescription to buy a lot of drugs, including antibiotics, many pain relievers (especially ones that is used by drug addicts as precursors to "brew" narcotic substances) and similar things. I understand why it is necessary, especially after looking to India where antibiotics is used almost without control, and new drug-resistant infections appear regularily. But if you prescribed something for lifetime and suddenly found that you forgot a last pack with tablets in hotel from which you just returned from vacation.... It is problem, because you need to visit doctor and get a new prescription to buy more. It takes time, and not always you can just wait without taking medicines. So, most often, local pharmacy store will sell you minimum size pack of tablets, without prescription, but it is not really guaranteed.

I guess like most problems, not having the right drugs can be solved in the traditional North Nigerian way - by either bribing the pharmacist with 100 hard earned rubles or giving him a quick hand massage in his crappy old Lada in the car park

Plenty of the usual orc lies and copium in that post. The Soviet Union used to pretend that everything was tickety boo, despite massive queues for bread.

Nobody believes you.

A bit of interesting news. For all I've ever written here (mostly jokingly) about Melania, it seems she's one of the good people. She has gone up in my estimation.

President Zelensky has an unlikely ally in the White House: Melania Trump.
The first lady has been reminding her husband of the deadly toll of Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities and is thought to have played a role in convincing the president to sign off the delivery of Patriot air defence missiles to Kyiv this week

Despite the legions of national security advisers and foreign policy analysts at Trump's disposal, it appears his wife may be the most important voice of all. "Trump listens to certain people on certain things," says Jordan. "He particularly listens to people who are really close to him. And especially if their last name is Trump."

Feel good story of the day.... American moves his family to russia because he's scared of "LGBT propaganda" (a lot of which is pretty stupid and objectionable, I agree though moving to a place where you don't know the language or anything about it really, seems like an odd move).

He's told he can get citizenship if he joins the army which can use his skills as a welder and he'll be kept far away from the front lines....

You'll never guess what happened next.... (well you probably can)

The wife making the video probably sealed his fate... as long as he's alive people will ask about him but as they say.. no man no problem... I only hope he has sunflower seeds in his pockets.

LGBT propaganda

I'd love to actually see some of this, never having done so.

Do the rightwingnuts think we have some sort of governing body with a huge PR budget?

He's told he can get citizenship if he joins the army which can use

He's gone from a place people want to live in to a place that people want to escape from. The daft twat.

problem... I only hope he has sunflower seeds in his pockets

I hope he's got a grenade in his pocket to blow his withered knob off with.

Wishing death on your compatriots. Nice Maf.

I wish death on every russian soldier in the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. I haven't hid that. And I'm not about to change.

Life to Ukraine! Death to russian invaders!

I meant you were wishing death on a man born in America.

I only hope he has sunflower seeds in his pockets.

I'm very tempted to ask on their YT channel if there's an address I can send a pack of sunflower seeds for her to forward to her husband.

He's gone from a place people want to live in to a place that people want to escape from.

And he went there to "escape from propaganda".

While he might not have ever been asked his pronouns in Russia, it seems likely that his verb from will soon be was.

An example or two...

"The Department of Education funded this NGO, which argues that educators should destigmatize "sex work," especially for "queer and trans people of color" and "LGBT+ youth."

x.com/JamesEsses/status/1937434882285736279

"Little Starlings Nursery in Somerset. Children as young as 2 years old are made to pose for photographs in front of a giant trans pride flag.

x.com/OliLondonTV/status/1943396906144796874

Detransitioned woman who was pushed to be TRANS and had a double mascetomy at 14 gives heartbreaking testimony: "I hadn't even learned algebra in high school yet, but I was old enough to choose to have healthy parts of my body electively amputated."

There's lots more, including lots more disturbing stuff

An example or two...

The only propaganda I see there is right wing anti stuff. No one is 'made' to pose for photos and yes, sex work should be destignatises.

Twitter is a cancer on the world.

I meant you were wishing death on a man born in America.

So? He wants to kill Ukrainians in Ukraine so I don't care about his national origin. He chose evil, let him reap the benefits.

And that's you're only comment on the story? You're afraid to publicly criticize the russian army?

Children as young as 2 years old are made to pose for photographs in front of a giant trans pride flag.

How is a flag "propaganda"? And that's leaving aside you having any proof at all that any of those kids have been forced to pose in that photo.

@mafketis

Any man that enlists now, and hopes to remain a welder or a mechanic is an idiot.

Open the newspapers. Open your eyes.

This is a war of annihilation. Men from the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier are being used as trench infantry.

Why should pre-pubescent children be taught about 'trans' issues in the first place? Ever heard of 'age appropriate'?

Men from the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier are being used as trench infantry.

No worries though. When they die, Nepalis, Ethiopians and Eskimos will replace them.

Dammit. Aren't there any Russian patriots left to stop this madness?

Why should pre-pubescent children be taught about 'trans' issues in the first place?

Exactly.

US President Donald Trump believes that Russian victory in the Ukraine conflict is inevitable, Politico reported, citing a senior White House official.

Aren't there any Russian patriots left to stop this madness?

Patriotic Russians want to stop this war as much as the patriotic Americans wanted to stop the invasion of Japan and Germany.

Now answer my question:

Why would the winning side want to stop a war?

to choose to have healthy parts of my body electively amputated."

...and the girl was not a boy even for second after this medieval barbarism ...

Doctors who do this shlt to kids should be shot.

Why should pre-pubescent children be taught about 'trans' issues in the first place? Ever

Because some people they encounter in life are that.

And because they will be, as soon as they go online, assailed by rightwing propaganda full of deliberate hatred. It is the duty of the ecducation system to teach future citizens about the things around them in a non-judgemental way.

Being taught that something exists is not 'propaganda'

We were taught about disabled people, pirates and the then Iranian Revolution. Was that propaganda?

Ethiopians

Ethiopians are not generally so stupid.

That's for Russia to decide...if this one will be Pyrrhic or like the one in 1945?

Was the US victory over Japan Pyrrhic? What did the US gain that was worth 200,000 dead Americans and billions?
Torq  17 | 1620

this one will be Pyrrhic or like the one in 1945?

Incomparable.

In 1945 USSR won the world war against the nazi Third Reich and its allies.

In 2025 Russia is fighting a mid-size, poor and corrupt Slavic nation... and suffering immense losses. Bobko has just told you - they now must resort to use aircraft carrier crew as trench infantry. Any victory (if they achieve it) will be a Pyrrhic one.
Lazarus  3 | 431

Why should pre-pubescent children be taught about 'trans' issues in the first place?

So, no attempt to justify calling a flag "propaganda". Pity, I expected better from you.

As for why kids should be taught that everybody should be able to take pride in what they are, why wouldn't you teach children that?

Ever heard of 'age appropriate'?

Yes, most recently it was used to 'justify' homophobic views about showing children books in which a child had two fathers or two mothers. Before that it was used as fig leaf for racism about showing children books in which a child had mother who was one colour and a father who was another. And before that it was parents from different religions.

Was the US victory over Japan Pyrrhic?

No.

Pyrrhic victory is "a victory that inflicts such a devastating toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat".

Certainly not the case with the US victory in Pacific.

What did the US gain that was worth 200,000 dead Americans and billions?

Victory over a mortal enemy who attacked the US, domination on the Pacific theatre, and the world superpower status.

All that allowed Americans to create a worldwide economic system with dollar as the main reserve currency, which earned you the wealth that you have. Without it you would have to work as hard as Guatemalans and for as little.
Novichok  7 | 9794

Certainly not the case with the US victory in Pacific.

The US won the shooting war and lost the econ war...Almost all of US manufacturing went to Japan, China, and South Korea.

It all started with the US meddling in Asia. It that sense, Japan was right to attack PH. They were nice enough to spare civilians...

Today, our debt is 37 trillion ...going on 50...This BS is unsustainable...and will end badly...

Because some people they encounter in life are that.

Some people they encounter in life are into zoophilia or necrophilia... at what age do they need to know about that?

sex work should be destignatises.

Sex work by children should be destigmatized? (that was the context of the link)

Children should be allowed to 'decide' they want elective, invasive, irreversible surgical procedures?

Moving to russia is stupid under any circumstances but I understand revulsion about telling vulnerable teens that they need major surgery to be themselves

Interestingly, a very large portion of gender critical twitter is made up of gays and lesbians... many of whom recognize they would have been likely targeted by trans proponents during their, often unhappy, adolescenses...

Twitter takes time and effort to get value from but it's also the best single news source on the planet. Time and time again I see items in the mainstream media that I knew about days (often many days) before.
