Enough of all the BS, this is the truth;
Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 22
Milo, I get the impression that you swallowed at least half a pill of that dope that Biden was drugged with for 4 years....
Enough of all the BS, this is the truth;
Children, today, we will learn how to use the word "pigs". No, it's not about the police.
Here we go:
Russia will give Donbass back when pigs learn to fly.

They are already growing wings.
already growing wings
Yes, but that's in Chernobyl not in Donbass.
Did you mean Donbas?
And 3d printed rotors, with engines powered by AI.

you swallowed at least half a pill of that dope that Biden was drugged with for 4 years....
And what kind of pills do you Putinist bastards swallow in order to be able to live with yourselves and look in the mirror? 🤮
27-years-old Russian was convicted for 12 YEARS of penal colony for "TREASON" for sending 100 PLN to Polish charity Caritas in order to help Ukrainian refugees:
o2.pl/informacje/rosjanin-przelal-100-zl-na-polski-caritas-teraz-zostal-skazany-7168940902243168a
According to RuSSian Putinist court those 100 PLN "may have been" used to buy "equipment, weapons, ammunition and elements of tactical medicine for Ukrainian army" lol
For those who don't know - "caritas" in Latin means "charity". Caritas Polska is a branch of Caritas Internationalis - official charity organisation of the Catholic Church - it's the second-largest international humanitarian aid network in the world after the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
They provide humanitarian help, not weapons to sides of conflict:
episkopat.pl/doc/224853.Caritas-Polska-Trzy-lata-pomocy-w-Ukrainie
It looks like there's also a RuSSian branch of Caritas:
caritas.org/where-caritas-work/europe/russian-federation/
Caritas Poland is the largest charity in Poland and is overseen by Polish Catholic Church. Like every charity in Poland it is required by law to publish financial reports from their activity. From what I know they didn't and aren't buying any weapons, ammunition for any side of any conflict. After all, they're a religious Christian charity and that would be weird if they did and I'm guessing also against the Vatican's policy.
So why did that RuSSian guy send those money in 2022 to a Polish charity? Because since 2021 he lived in Poland and worked here as an ironworker in a factory. After the invasion of Ukraine Poland declined to prolong stays for over 6000 Russians in Poland for security reasons and he had to go back to RuSSia. So he applied for a political asylum in Poland, but was denied :(((
For those who want to know more about how Caritas Poland has been helping Ukrainians:
vaticannews.va/pl/swiat/news/2024-02/150-milionow-zlotych-przeznaczyla-na-pomoc-ukrainie-caritas-pols.html
In 2023 Caritas Poland spent 150 million PLN for humanitarian help for Ukrainians both in Ukraine and in Poland - from food to laptops for kids, psychological help, organised actions like "Paczka dla Ukrainy" (A Package for Ukraine") and "Rodzina Rodzinie" ("From Family to Family").
"Caritas' record-breaking support for Ukraine since the beginning of the war:"
ekai.pl/rekordowe-wsparcie-caritas-dla-ukrainy-od-poczatku-wojny/
A fragment of the article (my translation):
'Caritas has helped 2 million refugees and the financial worth of this help provided by the organisation was 597 million PLN. At the peak of the crisis refugees were supported by 31 000 Caritas volunteers, there are 32 Help Centers for Migrants and Refugees. Furthermore, Poles prepared 83 000 "Packages for Ukraine" worth 29 mln PLN.'

A quote from the first article (my translation):
"Human rights activists are encouraging to send letters to Varaskin to show him support in this way and to improve his situation in the penal colony."
How would this improve his situation though? Won't he be treated worse if they see that Poles are sending letters to him? :/
It's sick and crazy that some average Joe can get 12 years for something like this in RuSSia. Rapists usually get much lower sentences in Poland.

Probably yes.
It's sick and crazy that some average Joe can get 12 years for something like this in RuSSia
That's r*SSia. They do stuff like this to show how cúntish they can be and to try to distract from the other even worse evils they do by getting people worked up.
Sadly, all we can really do is be callous about it and ignore them. That or make it so big that there are candlelit vigils outside their embassies and paint thrown on r*SSian citizens that matter to them like diplomats and the very rich. Red paint over the heads of Kabateva and her spawn.
That probably won't happen so all we can do is move on and not worry about the r*SSian practice of arbitrary detention.
They like people to be frightened of them. So don't be frightened of them. The only thing to fear is fear itself; make every r^SSian in the west frightened to leave their home. That or ignore their antics.
Sadly, all we can really do is be callous about it
That would be against my nature.
So don't be frightened of them.
I'm not frightened, I'm angry and disgusted. 🤬
ignore their antics.
No.
That would be against my nature.
That's what they're hoping. You are good, I am good, they are as bad as they can be.
I'm not frightened, I'm angry and disgusted.
Good. Sadly a lot of people (most r*SSians even) prefer inaction through fear and angst than taking a stand for what is right.
No.
So what to do? He's not an American netball player caught with CBD vapes and he's not French (their government pays ransoms). What to do?
This is just like the way they used to treat dissidents in the 70s and 80s. They do it deliberately to provoke a reaction in the West and to test that response.
So what to do?
Spread the information about how evil the RuSSian state is? That's something any average person can do. Like I did now on this thread. That's better than ignoring it, imho.
Also, people like this shouldn't be ignored and forgotten. That's what authoritarian and totalitarian regimes are usually counting on - that people won't care, that they will forget and "move on".
Good. Sadly a lot of people (most r*SSians even) prefer inaction through fear and angst than taking a stand for what is right.
Hey, I'm not frightened, because I live in Poland lol If I lived in RuSSia - I would be scared. Such high sentences are not meant to test Western response and get people in Poland "worked up". Putinist regime wants to scare their own people.
Spread the information about how evil the RuSSian state is?
Good idea. We can all do our bit, however we have to do it well.
In 2022, the amount r*SSia spent on online propaganda is 8 times that Poland's NFZ and double the budget of NHS England. This means the task is a tough one. But yes, keeping this out there for people to see can be useful. Though not to the poor guy who got 12 years in the Gulag system.
Putinist regime wants to scare their own people.
They live in fear and are demoralised anyway. The internal market for propaganda is part of the story. Another part is to appall those outside.
Though not to the poor guy who got 12 years in the Gulag system.
At least what was done to him won't go unnoticed. If I were in his place, I would like people to know and care about what happened to me.
They live in fear and are demoralised anyway.
And Putinist regime clearly wants to keep it that way.
Another part is to appall those outside.
Whatever for? I really don't see a point in this. I'm pretty sure it's meant for the "domestic market". Majority of people in the West probably don't know and won't know about this case. Even in Poland it's just another "blip" on the news' radar...
If I were in his place, I would like people to know and care about what happened to me.
Me too. I suspect it largely will though. One outrage follows another and sonn they'll try another cruel stunt.
Whatever for? I really don't see a point in this.
They strategise points, and know that this will get media coverage in PL. A blip on the radar yes, however can you think of a reason they would want it talked about in PL even for a short time?
So why did that RuSSian guy send those money in 2022 to a Polish charity?
*Russian, sorry :)
they'll try another cruel stunt.
Because they are what they are. And the world should be reminded about what they are like.
however can you think of a reason they would want it talked about in PL even for a short time?
The only logical reason I can think of is scaring anti-Putinist Russians living in Poland, so they would never come back to RuSSia.
Getting Poles "worked up" would be counterproductive, because Poles who are angry at RuSSia are more likely to support Ukraine.
And the world should be reminded about what they are like.
They should, however reminding them doesn't do much. Bless you remind them with a baseball bat. Real or metaphorical; either will do.
I can think of is scaring anti-Putinist Russians living in Poland, so they would never come back to RuSSia.
Some of that. Plus Ukrainians who already know what they're like and, believe me, reminding them can hurt them.
Getting Poles "worked up" would be counterproductive
Every little thing chips away at morale. That's why they do it. They study the psychological effects of that more than decent people should.
They should, however reminding them doesn't do much.
Even if that's the case - it's still the right thing to do. If people did the right thing only when it works 100% of the time, many good things wouldn't happen in this world, imho. 🤔
reminding them can hurt them
It probably depends on the person. I imagine many Ukrainians want the world to know how f*cked up RuSSia is.
Every little thing chips away at morale.
Sorry, jon357, but, again, I don't get it. How getting Poles angry at RuSSia and more motivated to help Ukraine against this "Mordor country" is good for RuSSia exactly?
It probably depends on the person. I imagine many Ukrainians want the world to know how f*cked up RuSSia is
It's how they take it individually that is the thing here. It's a cumulative effect.
Just as slowly chipping away elsewhere has its cumulative effects. The orcs understand this very well.
How? They invented the while science of this. Lozanov and before, and much after. As I said, they study the psychological effects of that more than decent people should and spend 8 times the NFZ budget on it.

Meanwhile, Putin is now facing pressure at home from hardline Russian supporters to declare all out war on Ukraine. The try to be careful approach to war is not getting the results that faction wants to see. With Trump focussing on Iran for now, Putin could cause some major problems in Ukraine pretty quickly if he bends to this pressure. With daily reports of Russian advances, and thinning Ukraine troops on the front lines, this could be the bloodiest summer of the war yet.
Daily reports of North Nigerian advances ?
Must have missed those. Aren't they still 6km from
Pokrovsk ?
All the NN's have done in the last 2 months is drone attacks on women and kids
And why does is make a difference if Golden Cow is distracted by Iran ? - he wasn't doing anything to help Ukraine anyway
