America lost 3,000+ of its citizens in a single attack on New York City. More than Israel did on October 7th.

It didn't make legitimate the looting of Iraqi and Afghan homes. It didn't mean that America had the right to turn Kabul or Baghdad into a wasteland. America also didn't permit its soldiers to treat the local population like beasts.

American troops literally travelled with bags of cash. If they so much as broke your tv set, during a "no knock" raid in the middle of the night, the commanding officer would go outside to get cash from their armored car - and pay you on the spot.

American soldiers were trained on how to speak with elders, and why it's forbidden to enter a room containing women if you were alone. Of course, there were excesses, but I think the US prosecuted the guilty in good faith.

Contrast this with the behavior of the IDF in Gaza, where they act like f*cking Vandals. They film themselves throwing furniture from balconies. They film themselves bulldozing people's homes. They force groups of naked men to kneel in the streets for hours on end, including men older than 70. They hunt children, as if they are on a safari.

That's why I say I'm very happy that Russia faces so much outrage, because it means we are still judged on a human scale and not a Jewish one.
