Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 16

Another day and another example of Z being stupid. Z is now being critical of Scholz because he had a conversation with Vlad. How TF are you supposed to end a war if you do not talk to the enemy? And oh by the way, the rest of Europe is waiting to move on with their lives and the world does not revolve arounf Ukraine. As we approach 1000 days of war, its about time everyone started talking. Ideas to end the war that are based on common sense, and real possible solutions. Not the pie in the sky bvllshit ideas here on PF, but real ideas that will allow Ukraine to move forward.

Oh I know, but Russia will just attack again. Sure, maybe. And if Europe isnt prepared for that four or five years from now, then European leadership has failed once again. All the green bvllshit, and wokeism in the EU needs to be put aside for real common sense initiatives that improve peoples every day life.

they wanna see you get out of your comfort zone.

Putin is doing a good job of that for the Russian people.
The ruble's decline continues its downward spiral, with its value now equivalent to a mere one US cent and less than one pence in sterling.
Takes 100 ruble to buy a tin of sprats ?

Z is now being critical of Scholz

Who isn't critical of Scholz, a weak cowardly leader not remotely up the task of being Chancellor during a crisis. He's in meltdown mode trying to salvage his government and trying to put off elections that he would surely lose

How TF are you supposed to end a war if you do not talk to the enemy?

.
there are ways of doing that and way of not doing that.... a wildcat action as the head of a party hopelessly corrupted by russia is not the way to do that.

but Russia will just attack again

russia doesn't know how not to attack its neighbors, it has to be disciplined and trained to act like a civilized country

the rest of Europe is waiting to move on with their lives

sadly true, russsia wants to kill Ukrainians more than the rest of the world wants to stop russia....

Yes, Scholz is weak. But someone from one side or the other needed to open communications. This war is going to end pretty soon. Trump is either making a deal and Ukraine agree's or Ukraine gets cut off and is counting on the EU. The EU has big issues to deal with outside of Ukraine. Clearly the mass immigration issues need to be addressed, and deportations need to be accelerated. The EU also needs to continue arming itself, but has proven that cant be done while arming Ukraine at the same time. Building bigger military in every country needs to take place, and how does the EU incentivise people for military service in a time of potential war when it is always easier in a time of peace. Ukraine has had almost three years of incredible financial and military assistance. Enough is enough. Some wars cannot be won and this is one of those.

And how did putain respond to this plea for open communicaiton?

He escalated attacks on civilian infrastructure.

Congratulations Scholz! You just made things worse!

russians interpret normal diplomacy as confessions of weakness and as a signal to escalate, every, single, time.

Ukraine has had almost three years of incredible financial and military assistance

they've received about half of what was promised....

Why is this a war that cannot be won ? In fact the North Nigerians have a long history of military defeats. What the Ukrainians need is more weapons and the freedom to use them.

North Nigeria is spending 40 percent of its taxes on this senseless war. If that were my taxes then I would be out on the streets complaining- but the NN "voters" are weak pussies who are too scared

NN "voters" are weak pussies who are too scared

It's a different mentality, I keep telling you. Almost no russians understand concepts like 'the value of human life' or 'rights' or 'human dignity' even 'citizens' they're subjects and placidly accept having no voice in many major decisions affecting them.

Not possible! That man has become the definition of a bottom line, imossible to fall short of!

What the **** did he talk about with Putin? Did he jammer about the bad german media which puts him as responsible for the worst governing in our history, ever?

@cms neuf
Well all the facts and all the experts say Russia cannot be pushed out, so that is losing. Its over except for the men being killed. Unreal how many want the war to keep going when its not them who are at risk of being killed or having a family member killed who wants no part of the war. Ukranian people want the war to end. All the name calling of Russia just makes any argument not able to be taken seriously.

People. Don`t be naive. Other powers are at work here not base instincts

Look

Nikola Tesla... Born: June 28
Elon Mask... Born: June 28

Tunguska Event.. initiated from Tesla`s hotel room at June 28 with consent of back then USA and USSR Presidents.

Who was first to enter in the hotel room of wonder of Nikola Tesla after Tesla died? It was the uncle of the today`s USA president Donald Trump.

Oh, I forgot to tell you

Archduke Franz Ferdinand, died June 28

June 28 - among Serbians the day is known as the day of Svetovid. The name of God that in English translates as `The One who sees everything`. By most religious experts Svetovid was/is considered as the supreme Slavic deity. All other deities were lower or other personifications of Svetovid itself under the different names. By that, old Slavic faith wasn`t polytheistic but monotheistic and in that sense inspired a lot of principles of Christianity. Fundamental principles.

Why can't they be pushed out - they left Afghanistan unconditionally after 8 years of fighting medieval tribesmen

The reason ? The US armed the Afghans with their best missiles (maybe a bit too well with the benefit of hindsight). Add to that the cost in money and lives and it is clear the UNNR public couldn't take any more.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 11927

The reason ?

Putin!

Who knows...if Putin would had been already in control back then if they also had cut their losses and moved out too...it was after all to keep the communist empire together. Soon after the "push out" it ended and broke up in many little parts....Putin's big trauma, which he still wants to rectify, at all costs!

And they were owed nothing.

Make sure you tell all the Ukrainians you know that.

Unreal how many want the war to keep going

I don't want it to keep going i want the West to rediscover its balls and to kick russia out and grind it into the mud. But western politicians are determined to try to save russia.

Meanwhile russians celebrate yesterday's attack....

Aunt of Russian Tzar?

France? But the Soviets gave nuclear technology to France.

Nobody wants to see his country fall apart

Nobody....true....the secret here is "HIS COUNTRY!

It was an Empire build with blood and weapons, including many unwilling/hostile people! It was never "his" country....

Something any new Empire has to keep in mind, multi-ethnic and enforced just isn't viable....not in the long run, at least!
OP Novichok  5 | 8543

It was never "his" country....

The USSR was his country just as Germany is your country.

You don't have to love the SS to be proud of German engineers who designed V2.

The USSR, for its faults and Stalin's crimes, turn an agrarian Russia into a superpower and a technological leader. See Gagarin, Latka, and 100 other things...including the world's biggest plane...

The USSR was his country just as Germany is your country.

Nope! "My country" was the GDR, the German Democratic Republic....as artificial and unwanted by most of it's people as was the Sovietunion!

Okay, you don't have so much control about what comes after, but in 1989 most Germans were happy to see it gone, as were most Sovietunians...remember the news reels back then?

including the world's biggest plane...

Yeah....not to mention our doped athlets...our tiny state was one of the most successful sports nations ever, and man do I miss that! Does that mean I want the GDR back? Definitely not!

Why can't they be pushed out - they left Afghanistan unconditionally after 8 years of fighting medieval tribesmen

1) It was not unconditional. We left behind the government of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, and left them with a mountain of weapons. They held out against the Taliban (which you created) for longer than your weak secular Afghan government.

2) While we may have lost several thousand soldiers, Afghanistan lost 3 million people. The CIA's, Saudi Mukhabarat's, and Pakistani's ISI's intervention is to blame for these millions of deaths. They are responsible for the rise of the Taliban, and Al Qaeda. Pushing the Russians out of Afghanistan is probably the worst thing that ever happened to Afghanistan.

The only difference between Afghanistan and its neighbors to the North like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, is that one was a product of English and American meddling, and the other of Russian stewardship.

Unwittingly, you provided a perfect example of what your cannibalistic world view can lead to. America was happy to kick the Russians out of Afghanistan, and then washed its hands of it... forgetting completely about Afghanistan until it came back to bite it in the ass.

Ukraine will similarly be dumped and forgotten. Their resentment at you, will grow in direct proportion to how their hatred of us decreases.

Ukraine will similarly be dumped and forgotten.

Hard to imaginable....their ethnic awareness seems extremely strong developed! Especially if being denied.....

That's one thing the soviet occupation troops never tried in the GDR, telling the Germans they weren't Germans....quite the contrary, we were the "good" Germans. The "bad" Germans were all in West-Germany, all true Nazis and Nazi-leftovers! :)

That's why I said "is", not "was".

In the end, every friend of America eventually learns to hate it. Something tells me this will be happening on an accelerated time scale in Ukraine (and maybe one day in Poland).

Let's look at a list of America's former best friends:

1) Batista's Cuba
2) Somoza's Nicaragua
3) Ngo Dinh Diem's Vietnam
4) The Shah's Iran
5) Apartheid South Africa
6) Jonas Savimbi's Angola

The list goes on and on. Everyone that America becomes interested in, in order to troll Russia, eventually comes to hate America.

Maybe America should be more like China, and help people dig their way out of poverty, instead of using them as puppets against Russians - to be used and discarded?

direct proportion to how their hatred of us decreases.

Don't see that happening anytime soon....

in 1989 most Germans were happy to see it gone, as were most Sovietunians...

I only realized a few years ago that russians didn't mind the USSR.... they might not have crazy about some aspects of it but they overwhelmingly were okay with it. Almost every other republic (esp Ukraine and the Baltics) in the west hated it and wanted out as much as Poland and Hungary and Czechoslovakia wanted out of the 'soviet sphere of influence).

American swamp and its MICC inflicted more damage on the US than Germany, Japan, China, the USSR and Russia combined.

I only realized a few years ago that russians

Do they?

As an ex-GDRian I can tell you not to confuse a dictatorship with it's people....it lessens the surprise later.

And for these people the US was and often enough still is the one bright star of hope, I can tell from experience!

Between 1959 and 2023, some 2.9 million Cubans emigrated from Cuba.

UNHCR estimated that in 2020 more than 108,000 Nicaraguans were seeking refuge in the world

....and so on!

Don't see that happening anytime soon....

Look at the Poles... they still can't forgive the British and the French for flushing them down the toilet.

This explains the entirety of Poland's post-1991 obsession with America, and their current kowtowing before Trump.

Foolish Poles think this new daddy will protect them more faithfully than those in whom they placed their trust in the past.

Poland has yet to learn the exorbitant cost of American friendship, whereas Ukraine may have just had its first taste.

In general, this idea that somebody 8,000 kilometers, and an ocean away, will have a greater attention span than someone who lives on the other side of the fence... is an exceedingly stupid one.

......we are living in the age of nukes, Bobko! Kilometers are now alot less important than before...

But alone that Poles kowtow to an US president because of fear of Russia should tell you all there is!

PS: Surely nobody wants to repeat the ukrainian error....giving up their nukes for empty promises!
