Seriously, I actually don't mind when we take a black-and-white stand about Israel. I hate gray and the guessing games. Those invite wars. Certainty prevents wars.

We should tell Iran in simple English what will happen to them if in our opinion the existence of Israel is threatened. The US dropped two on Japan so dropping a couple on Iran should be no problem after a notice to evacuate. They hate us already so no change there...

Persians are concentrated in the middle of the country (according to an Iranian) and the minorities closer to the borders. Everybody accepts modern persian as the lingua franca but maintenance of minority languages is hit or miss (depends on a lot of factors, other iranian languages are generally the most endangered).

Interestingly it can be argued that despite the "islamic republic of" part Iran is no longer a muslim majority country. A co-worker (believing Shia) told me a few years ago most people no longer really identify as muslim and things like fasting in public for ramadan or going to mosque are practiced only by small minorities....

Good luck with this. Whole production chain is overloaded, and many commercially available components is unavailable in desired quantities. It will take years to build everything needed to augment production chains, and question is who will pay for this - as this production capacities will become deeply excesssive in a few years and will create no profit.
