If he claimed that those were Slavs yes. But they were Serbs in his imagination.

@Tacitus

Yes, of all today`s Germans it is scientifically proved that at least Eastern Germans are Serbs in origin. That is why there are Lusatian Serbs in Germany. They are not newcomers but remnant of what was populace of the back then Roman province of Germania. But they lived there since time immemorial, of course prior to Romans. That is why early Roman Empire in oldest Roman maps, when speak of Europe, speak only of Romans bordering with Sarmatians. On West, North, East, South. It is because Romans were not able properly to pronounce name of Serbians. So comes to name Sarmatians. So even now you have points in even Catholic online encyclopedia that all Slavs originate from Serbs and that there is correlation between Serbian and Sarmatian name.

Terms, Venetia, Veneti, Wendi... all come from name of Serbs. As it is said even in ancient Sanskirt. SRBINDI > SRVENDI. After all, same as are Lusatian Serbs even in our time designated by Germans. As Wends.

Not to say that oldest Frankish maps when speak of Slavs speak of Serbs. So comes the `Limes Sorabicus`. Frankish term for border of Frankish and Slavic domain. Also, oldest maps of Europe speak of Baltic as of Sarmatian and Serbian Ocean or Sea.

See. Europe has its dark secrets. Its untold truth.

You don`t want to be Serbian? Fine. But don`t fu*k science. Because when you fu*k science you steal from the future of all of mankind.

online

Venetia, Veneti, Wendi

How is any of that relevant to modern times?

The only thing that's important is keeping all trade with r*SSia in the past where it belongs too and making sure that any military alliance isn't connected the EU or limited to countries in our region.

The only thing that's important

Now is important for Slavic civilization to secure its resources for its own future and future in coexistence with those who are willing to trade fairly.

r*SSia

Let`s not BS.

How is any of that relevant to modern times?

Its the matter of science. As such it has its place in human past and future. It has also special meaning for those who exist as Slavs.

It's true though.

Your wild theories are close to the 1930s German 'racial science' theories. And they are bullcrap.

Does he actually know about it?

About that....interesting info:

....The considerable number of Slavic surnames in German - estimates range between 15% and 35%1 - is a clear sign of our close ties with the Slavs. A significant proportion of these names originate from Sorbian, although the exact distinction from Czech and Polish names is not always clearly possible. The names of national soccer player Michael Ballack and Saxon Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich, for example, are certainly of Sorbian origin. The latter is Sorb and also speaks Sorbian. Very early on, however, Sorbian names were simply translated in official documents. Thus, Ć ewc became Schuster, Kowar became Schmidt, Krawc became Schneider, etc., and this was usually the first step toward complete assimilation. While only modest remnants of the Sorbs live in Saxony and Brandenburg today, their numbers and settlement areas were, of course, considerably larger in the past. This is evidenced not only by personal names, but also by place names such as Bautzen, Cottbus, etc., as well as by many watercourse names. An important historical source for Sorbian personal names are the various written sources such as court records, church registers, etc., some of which date back to the 14th century......

On the other hand....I have my doubt that Sorbs = Serbs!

A clear sign of your occupation, colonisation, ethnic cleansing and cultural oppression of the Slavs.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 11974

....that too!

On the other hand Germanic tribes lived in these lands since ever!

...Archaeologists usually associate the earliest clearly identifiable Germanic speaking peoples with the Jastorf culture of the Pre-Roman Iron Age in central and northern Germany and southern Denmark from the 6th to 1st centuries BCE.....

So we are not like the kind of british, french or spanish colonialists in South America or somewhere on the globe.....

You are sane. uff I was worried for you for a moment.

hand Germanic tribes lived

According to the latest scientific theory, those ancient cultures are less about ethnicity and more about culture, including language. While culture and languages fluctuated the biological material remained mostly the same with some exceptions.

You can go now.

Booga booga
Everybody was Serbs which means there were no Serbs. You can go now and stop spamming my thread with your BS.

Some peasants here are so simple. For serious scientific discussion, we need a new environment, a new thread on academic level.

Crow is just a Serbian pest in a Polish Forum.

Crow is a Slav and our brother. You can agree or disagree with him but don't call him a pest.

He is though.

people need to stop bullying

When someone promotes racism and nationalism, others will call them out.

All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

When someone promotes racism and nationalism

You do the same thing with Ukrainians and Orcs so get off your high horse

Hoping very much that a (surprisingly multicultural) country being invaded by literally the worst invaders in the world is not promoting racism and nationalism.

the worst invaders

...12,654 civilian men, women, girls, and boys have been killed ... since 24 February 2022, as verified by HRMMU.

Wow...truly horrific...4000 a year... In the meantime:

630 000 people died from AIDS-related illnesses in 2023.

42.3 million people have died from AIDS since the start of the epidemic

So what is deadlier...Russian rockets or azzfvckers' dicks?

The answer: Russian invasion is less deadly than ass invasions by dicks with AIDS.
Bobko  27 | 2275

literally the worst invaders in the world

Hyperbolizing a bit there, Jon.

I'm sure you would prefer to be occupied by Russia, than by the Islamic State, or some Libyan warlord.

Russia doesn't execute homosexuals. Russia doesn't sell captured pre-teen girls in open air bazaars as sex slaves. Russia doesn't hand out machetes to civilians, and then encourage them to go "visit" the other side of town.

In fact, when I think about it - Russia doesn't do quite a lot of things, which YOU do.

And the worst things Russia does - it learned from YOU:

1) Bombing people with drones from the comfort of an office cubicle. Doesn't matter if it's an Afghan wedding, or a building containing a single terrorist and hundreds of civilians.

2) Creating lawless private military companies that behave as marauders.

3) Bursting into people's homes in the middle of the night, humiliating them, beating them and destroying their property.

4) Completely immunizing your soldiers from any kind of legal challenge, whether it's murder or theft.

....imagine an ukrainian refugee reading that!

Next they should say "spassiba"? ;)

imagine an ukrainian refugee reading that!

The average Ukrainian refugee left the completely unmolested town of Lviv to pursue a better life abroad.

Most Ukrainians read about the war from the news, just like you. Probably 95% have never seen a Russian soldier once.

So.....actually the Red Army did them a favour.....is it that what you want to say?

Seriously???
Bobko  27 | 2275
7 hrs ago   #209
Seriously??

To be honest I don't understand what you want from me.

Do you think that Iraq should say "Spasibo" to America for destroying their country and gifting them an Islamic terrorist threat?

Probably not.

Do you think Libya should say "Spasibo" to NATO, for turning the country into a lawless hellhole?

I don't think so.

Any war is hell. The problem is Jon here going around calling us the "worst invaders in Earth". Just trying to bring him back to reality and at least look in the mirror once.
Bratwurst Boy  8 | 11974

Any war is hell.

Thank you!

Any sane will agree....it's just that your latest posts did sound very differently, hence my questioning!

It's hard to imagine but quite possible that Putin will go crazy and try his luck even further West and no I will not be grateful having to leave my 'hood.....
