In Polish relationships who is the boss?

I would imagine in 'normal' married relationships the woman is the boss, they are experts at arguing in order to compensate for their lack of muscle power, so a man knows, it's best to agree and live in peace. In the Musilim world the muscle wins; however it's 50/50 in my relationship.

I haven't met a couple yet , who shared the power !
Its always the way where one person is dominant.
It can change with time for example when my grandparents were young and grandpa was the main family provider
he was the boss but later when he was getting a pension my grandmother became the boss !

From my experience, there could be one party, who is more decisive and has the ability to take decision. This should not be considered as dominant, as they say the quiet ones are always stronger. The strength of the family unit in PL, I really admire and I am proud to be part of with my, Polish side. I have often informed my sister, she must get more Polish, in her role as aunty to our children.

Hence a Polish poet wrote:

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

Oh wait!
He wasn't Polish at all!

you know, with most guys, they dont always like to do what their GF wants to do, but they do it
to avoid getting into arguments.

women instinctively know that.

its much worse if they just walk around with a frown, looking all sad, when you get into a relationship
dont base it on the surface and what you see, you actually need to get to know the person and talk
cause otherwise your going to walk around looking like someone stole your left shoe.

There is no real boss in Polish relationships ... however, the women seem to prefer the men having a spine.

I dunno about that one. It seam like they prefer a man giving into their demands. I've heard one mother say to her daughter "Nie wiem jak to kobieta nie może dać se rady w chłopem" just because he didn't wanna do as she says.

Anyway, as to your question ... yes women like being heard, specially when they realize that their men love them. Its not a bad feeling to the man either, that is, to listen to the wife ... there is a joy when she CLAIMS ...

However, its not really about everything. The small things rather ... eventually the wives do like to see their men taking charge of the bigger things in life. I am talking about normal families, not those where everyone loves to rebel whatever is the situation infront of them...

Depends.... in some Polish relationships the woman is the master and in some other polish relationships the men control the woman.

On a daily basis, women talk more than men; much more.
Half the time (when they talk) they are giving orders of some sort; "do this' or " I need..." etc.
Women have been told that if a man disagrees with them then he is being oppressive. No such rule exists for men.
Women know this.
