Why? So if you're flirting with a girl, and you find out she's Polish you will stop? Do you people really view nationality/heritage as such a huge factor in dating?

I do... I only date Russian men. I'd consider any Slav, really, but I prefer Russians. I live in America and would never date another American boy... ick.

No, you fool. Americans are not a race of their own. Sergei Prokofiev was a Russian composer who moved to America, same as Stravinsky. They "became" Americans and were still Russkies. See what I mean?

Almost everybody in the US has roots from other parts of the world. Only the Native Americans have true North American roots.

I'll date any girl as long as she has a good personality, decent looks, and is at least somewhat intelligent. I don't give a **** about her nationality/heritage.

It's also incredibly stupid to generalize all American guys. I'm American and I find it offensive that you would think that I'm just like every other American guy.

to answer your question, i'm from the U.S. Didn't mean for this to get terribly off topic, just wondering if Polish guys were interested in non-Polish girls haha

I'm sorry. I just do not like the American culture in general. Most of the American guys I personally know are awful... I'm not saying all are, though. :) I just prefer foreigners.

To each their own, really. Everyone has their own preference no matter what country you're in...

America is a multi-cultural nation. We do not have one culture. :-)

and how polish boys feels about latin girls?, how polish boys think about latin girls?

I live in the States. Two of my best friends married Latinas, one is from Argentina the other from Peru, both are very happy with their wives. I used to date a Brazilian lady and she was great, VERY emotional and always full of expresions ;) but the long distance relationship didn't work though...

I would prefer to marry a Polish girl mainly because I love Polish culture and it's something that I want my kids to embrace. I would like to preserve my heritage.

Thank God that there are plenty of Polish girls in northeastern America.

I find nothing more frustrating and revolting than greedy Central and Easter european girls.

Their materialism is a pathology from the days of Communist Repression. People from the "West" think it is repulsive and pathetic or they simply find them cheap.

I like Irish, Scottish girls (more traditional ones anyway, no D4!), Sri Lankan girls (who are very kind hearted and are very respectable), Canadian girls (who have good values and are liberal minded). I am pretty certain that this is NOT a strange bias as many of my friends agree.

I really hope that polish girls (and other former Soviety Blok nations' girls) shed this ugly image soon.

Poland isn't as bad as some of the eastern Slavic countries but I agree that some Polish girls might have a greedy gold-digging attitude. While I am planning on marrying a Polish girl, I most certainly will avoid the gold-digging portion. They can go f*uck themselves.

I am a Polish Aussie, and frankly, it is embrassing. Especially when in conversations I overhear Poland being lumped with other countries where the greed is certainly more prevalent. Tears my heart apart. It can't ALL be blamed on the fact that they were screwed around by communism: they are responsible for their attitudes as well.

Materialism is a disease. Thank you Americar! Thank you British Colonists! Thank you stupid
former Eastern Blok women for making Poles look like d$%ks.

I see where you're coming from, I really do.

Having said that I'd like to marry someone who views me as her lover, her friend and her true soulmate and I'd want to view her in the same light.

If she happens to be Polish (or Swedish, or American, or Brasilian, or...) that'll be the extra bonus. If you truly love someone and she loves you, you will be able to maintain your heritage because she'll want to learn everything about you and your culture, and vice versa. So I'll let my heart guide me rather than use passports for orientation.

Again, I do see your point but I've seen some 'unexpected' couples and the happines that followed and I became inspired... Maybe it'll happen and maybe it won't but it never hurts to aim high and hope for the best...

You're welcome Jazz - working hard on bringing you some more of that to your perfect society... In the meantime keep telling all the aborigines and also the immigrants in your internment camps that all the evil came from America.

(Off the record - I do love Australia but obviously they have their share of 'problems')

Materialism is a disease.

To a degree, you're damn right. However, it's a mindset that creates a lot of jobs, wealth etc. The nice things about downturns is that you realize the things you thought you needed you really didn't.

Thank you British Colonists!

You're living in Aus, had it not been for Colonialism, you'd not be enjoying the country it is today! Look at the phone book dipstick and you might find that a large proportion of the names are English...

As for Greedy Polish women...Me thinks you got stung somewhere along the line..quite a bitter post...

As to "traditional" Irish and Scottish women, I have no bloody idea what you are talking about, they are independent women and not exactly what I'd call "traditional" in any way shape or form...This isnt a slight on them, far from it.

But when things get better you start to enjoy the good times again, its human nature and its always been this way (we can all tighten our belts when we need to -doesnt mean we enjoy it though!)...Whats wrong with wanting nice things??? As long as you keep family first and dont lose sight of what is important, then there is nothing wrong with it...I work has so I deserve my treats!

Unless he is an aboriginal Australian.

And just out of curiosity are the prisoners sent long ago there also meant to thank you?

Just because you have no idea what he means does not make his post any less.
He compared them to D4, yet another thing you probably know nothing of.

Evidently you think Im a bit thick! degrade, disrupt, deny, destroy?????

Unless he is an aboriginal Australian.

I am in no way saying what we did was right, absolutely not, same as sending English kids there to be abused by priests...

And just out of curiosity are the prisoners sent there also meant to thank you?

It wasnt all ex cons Sean, that was a very small percentage...

Well, seems like you still havent learnt how to spell such a simple name or are you such a rude person? He slagged of Polish women, bunched them all together, which is unfair..most men that do this because they have been burnt! Why should I welcome him warmly if he starts his first post in such a negative way...Im happy to give some nice advice for those that are genuine...read some of my posts..
