New dishes are served regularly by the staff every two hours.
Here, typically Polish red borsch with a meat stuffed croquette. My fave. The borsch beverage (I am reluctant to call it soup) was hot in double meaning - both temp and taste.

The dance to a maxillofacial surgeon's waiting room.

Sorry Paw, I'm sure the folks in the photos are all really nice but they need to sort out the facial problems; maybe dermatology, but they've all got an extreme case of something.

:):):) Funny but no. Sorry. :):):)

Don`t overuse but in your essays, jon. That`s what they tried to educate me about at uni. :):):)

overuse but

It's best used sparingly.

Is it the Conga that they're dancing?

Is it the Conga

Conga is a line dance. Yes, the one in my pic is line. But I asked about the music/song/lyrics/specific context of this dance.

old age.

You are incessantly wrong, Pimpek. Half of that wedding guest assembly was quite young. Why are you so mentally deficient, I wonder??? Is it polluted American water or sth else which badly affects your basic brain functions??? hahahaha

Is it the Conga that they're dancing?

At last year's Eurovision a Polish journalist started a conga line during Moldavia's performances....

a Polish journalist started a conga line durin

Yes, but their music was accidental pop or disco.
While the wedding line dance is based on one traditional song, decades old now, and specific context. Which exactly??

It is also danced on other occassions, e.g, prom balls in high schools.

Is it only a southern Poland tradition, then, that nobody knows???

the wedding line dance is based on one traditional song,

Jedzie pociąg z daleka.

EXACTLY!!!! Thanks. I know I can always depend on you. :):):)

The song about travelling by train is a perfect one for a line dance where people simulate being carriages while the leader is the engine.

Here is a short vid from sb`s wedding party - funny coz in one moment the front "carriages" speed up and the ones behind them have to run.

The song about travelling by train

then the Eurovision song I posted is perfect, it's also about travelling by train (from Chisinau to Bucuresti) and is even called trenetul (the little train).

Is this oczepiny? Transition from single to married status? It used to be throwing the veil but I think it has changed now? Supposedly the woman who catches it is the next to be married?

Feniks
14 Nov 2023   #295

Because it's meant to represent unveiling? I'm not sure to ne honest .
pawian  221 | 26085

Yes, it relates to fairness. I mean justice. :):)

The bride isn't meant to see who's on the receiving end of the bouquet?
pawian  221 | 26085

Exactly!!! :):):)
I knew I can always count on you. :):):)

I'd say it's more about preventing her from just throwing it to a friend. Throwing it backward and blindfolded almost anyone can/could catch it.

It seems there were two throws.

Not necessarily 2 weddings though! Did the men throw their ties?
