Ways to find someone in Poland you lost contact with?

Hello, I'm in the UK. I have a very special friend in Poland I lost total contact with last year and by that I mean I lost all the data on an old phone and cannot retrieve a single thing to get back in touch with them.

I know their first name but not their last, but I know the name of the town they live in (small town with a population of 5 thousand) and I have pictures of them. I have tried every possible Google search trying to combine the info I know but with no result to them directly...they are a bit off the grid so no social media.

What can I do?

You can place an ad in the local newspaper

Population of 5 thousands? It's a big village. If you have their picture it's no problem to find them. If you cannot visit the place, I'd go to their official website (most Polish towns or villages have some form of a local government website) and start emailing the organizations, shops, church, schools there. Someone will respond. You can use a translator to write the message in Polish.

Hello. I am trying to find an old friend. Her name was Grazyna Kus before she was married. She used to live in Bielsko Biala and was an English teacher. I last saw her when she came to visit me in the 1980s. She is 74 I think. My name was Carol Dennett. My email is "carolyn.labuschagne@hotmail.co.uk"
