Satanic and Heretical Manifestations in Poland

What are you on about?

You said you don't see any contradiction between believing in fairies, banshees, and leprechauns - and believing in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In doing so, you gave a heart attack to half of our respected readership.

Best not to advertise the strange customs of your godforsaken island.

oh master of witicisms!

These are not witticisms, but low-effort puns.

I can produce 5 off the top of my head.

1) Gnome of Thrones
2) Gnomeo and Juliet
3) The Gnome Ranger
4) Gnomeland Security
5) Gnome Alone

why don't you agree on Gnome of Nazareth and stop arguing?

agree on Gnome of Nazareth

That's not a pun bro.

NB: I don't mean to be offensive but Ireland has brought whiskey, the water of life, to this world, and the UK has only brought civilization in exchange for natural resources, forced labour, (anti-)cultural assimilation and exploitation of the second rate nations. Irish civilization rates much higher in just about everyone's list, probably with the exception of Britons.

I mean, maybe there is something in the gnomes, banshees, and leprechauns - something must have made Irish superior to British.

Can somebody notify me when you will be discussing if angels can actually fly and how high?

fairies, banshees, and leprechauns

A banshee IS a fairy - 'bean sidhe', it means fairy woman. But the fairies of Ireland are not cute little things with wings and floaty dresses. They are more like another race of people, a supernatural race with whom we share the land. The story is that there was a great battle between us a long time ago and we finally agreed to share the place and not interfere with each other.

I really can't see an issue with it. I think that to deny the possibility of their existence is a lot stranger.

Ireland has brought whiskey, the water of life, to this world,

Actually that was the Irish monks :) and don't forget the Book of Kells.

But I love England.

Basically Djinn.

fairies

Of course there's the other type of fairy. Klaus Gnomi was apparently one.

It is fine, nobody is perfect.

By the way, can you recommend any good books on the subject of Irish mythology? You mentioning that great war kind of rings the bell, maybe i want to read more about it.

Basically Djinn.

The way Islamists tackle this issue is rather barbaric I think.

Sort of like Jews, but with wings.

like Jews

Gnome attar what the thread, someone on PF mentions them sooner or later.

Islamists

I don't know about Islamists since the world of Djinn is rarely a priority for them however Muslims in general have a very sophisticated outlook on Djinn.

When I meet a Muslim with a sophisticated view of Djinn, then I will accept that Islam is a religion rather than just a mental condition, but yeah, you are right - it probably looks sophisticated to you...

If Mormons are a religion, than Islam deserves to be one too.

Just a reminder, Mormons believe that after his resurrection, Jesus flew through the troposphere from the Middle East, all the way to North America - where he had made a bunch more Apostles from the Indians. Then, millennia later, a man in Upstate New York discovered this entire history by reading Egyptian plates, which only he could read (whilst the plates were placed at the bottom of a top hat), using special "seer" stones.

@Bobko, well, that sounds more plausible than what Britons tell about themselves and their civilization

a sophisticated view of Djinn

There are very complex beliefs about them. Science may well prove those beliefs (and leprechauns, boggarts and elves) right.

Something has to since in Poland nothing does.

using special "seer" stones.

That was before they invented their magic underwear.

So you are still waiting for that science train to come and resolve all of your doubts? May your never-ending quest turn out to be fruitful, and may the secret of eternity once become known to you.

Jesus flew through the troposphere from the Middle East,

Bobko, you may not be aware of it, but you have reached the final stage here. Here they are in consecutive order after joining:

Stage 1: Discovery
Stage 2: Learning
Stage 3: Disillusionment
Stage 4: Anger
Stage 5: Sarcasm
Stage 6: Mockery

Before you panic, let me assure you that it's always possible to go back to Stages 4 and 5 as the situation requires.

So you are still waiting

It could be a long wait.

Nevertheless our species has been around for a very long time and has only started doing science in the most recent 1% of that.

It would be naive to assume that there isn't far more yet to be discovered than has been discovered so far.

and may the secret of eternity once become known to you.

As good eschatologists say, we'll not know the whole story until the last page of the book.

Hey, Novi when you are going to give Alaska back to Russia? Putin demands it, or else!

Hey, Novi when you are going to give Alaska back to Russia?

Tell him he can have SF, LA, Chicago, DC, Baltimore, and NY, instead. We will pay for shipping...

To whom?

Gnomes?

Tell him he can have

You tell him, he is your friend. Also, he wants Alaska, not some BS. Failure to deliver means that the US stole from the US and there is going to be war over it sooner or later. You don't get cheeky with Russia.

dammit, Britons and their attention span.

Damnit, Poles and their lack of ability to compartmentalise threads. It's a miracle that their bridge team does so well.

'i went to poland and killed myself

Were there songs in it? There was something about a rapper which made me switch off.

Perhaps it could be a title of a Goth song.
