How to really meet Polish people in Poland and actually socialize with people in their Late 20s/Early 30s?

And that's true - no one criticised my English

Your written English is perfect and better than some native English speakers on here.
But I bet that when you speak English, like when I speak Polish, you have an accent....
The closest I get to hiding my accent is when I speak French.
People will not believe I am English but suggest that I must be Belgian or Alsacien.
None of us can fully lose our accents...... :-(

@Miloslaw
Of course I have some sort of an accent.
Plus I probably look 'Polish' - it's happened to me on several occassions in different countries that people assumed I was Polish even though I had not said a word (or waved the Polish flag above my head :)

Me too :-)
Even my kids look Polish even though they cannot speak a word of Polish they are still proud of their roots.
