Why is circumcision not practiced in Poland?

Many things were practiced for religious reasons that also had a health reason behind it. Let's say for example your in the M.E. a thousand years ago and you're about to pray, make an offering, etc. Just about every religion has an aspect to it where you wash before you pray so as to be 'clean' when giving your offering to God. Its the same in Islam, Judaism, pagan religions and with Christianity it's baptism to 'wash away original sin'? I'd say both as being clean as a person obviously has practical health benefits and is a sign of reverence in front of your God when praying or engaging in some ritual. In Genesis God makes a covenant with Abraham and every son of his would be circumcised. So its absolutely a religious thing but it's also a matter of hygienic practicality. Same as not eating shellfish or pork in an age where there wasn't proper cooling, especially in a desert.

Johnny, hate to burst your bubble of imperturbability once again, but you never had much to say about the subject anyway. Now. you'll have even lessLOL

Furthermore, how is it the Jews' fault for trying to do what is sane and imminently rational?

how is it the Jews' fault

The procedure accepted for medical use essentially was the Jewish peri'ah.
Moscucci reports that circumcision was imposed in an attempt to prevent masturbation.
You call that RATIONAL ! lol
No wonder the most of Europe in general disagree with it.
But who am I to debate the smartest guy in the room on all subjects.

Circumcision, both among Jews and Arabs, is a logical a practice as any, including allowing the male foreskin to remain.

Circumcision...is a logical a practice as any,

No, pointlessly removing a body part is not as logical as not mutilating someone.

Risking infection, worse sex life for both partners...Yeah, sounds as logical to me as leaving the baby's penis intact...

"Mutilation" implies willful damage done, either to the infant or to the mother. In the present instance, no such damage has been done:-)

I would say otherwise. Foreskin has it's use and removing it without medical reason is mutilation.

It's all the Jews fault, they started it in the name of religion.

I am dead nut On Topic Mick.
Poland doesn't practice circumcision because it is predominately a Catholic country that practices the Catholic religion.
It's the Jews that practice this ritual because of their Jewish religion.

It's all relative anyhow, folks, so lighten up! What the Jews and Arabs consider proper practice, European gentiles do not. Neither is more "right" than the other, they're merely different.

It's rather like asking as to which language is "better", French or Russian. It makes no sense, because language, as with religious practice, has no moral imperative.

It is what it is, whatever it is:-)

Johnny, hate to burst your bubble

Burst MY bubble......you haven't taken notice that not a single person in this thread of 673 posts agree with you ????
You are a one man band here Lyzko that just refuses to accept the facts.
What it is relative to is the mutilation of a male baby in the name of the Jewish religion to prevent masturbation and a covenant with Abraham which spread into a propaganda that had nothing to do with that to the goys in the name of health care.

In this day and age it simply boils down to a Jewish tradition and nothing more.
That is why Poland and the rest of Europe doesn't practice it.

@Rebirth
Seriously, there is far from enough evidence to prove the medical benefits of circumcision, no matter where you're from. People in ancient times did it for rite of passage into adulthood, except the Jews who did it shortly after the birth as a mark to distinguish themselves from most of their neighboring societies. The practice was only picked up again after some British doctor re-popularized the idea of circumcision in the 19th century. Among other reasons for this being to deter mast...uh...you know.

CAN circumcision help?
MAYBE!
But I'm more than positive you can find some guy out there (not sure why you want to) who is uncircumcised and will tell you that he's just fine.

Really, this thread seems racist against the Polish. /-:

No, there was another, more practical, reason.

@pawian; there was another, more practical, reason.
What reason, for example?

What reason, for example?

To make Jewish males horny and lustful. Simple.

Mutilation to make males ho and lu?
pawian  221 | 25032

Exactly, Alien. Ancient tribes noticed that removing the foreskin makes males hornier which contributed to more kids in a given tribe.

Catholic God Jewish God

Wow, have you read any research recently proving the Bible is based on two Gods, in fact?? :) Quite interesting.

Circumcision is for Semites.

And Americans.

A little riddle: where was Novi circumcised - in Poland or the USA?

Three in one actually! It's called the Trinitarian formula and it's in the Bible too!

W imię Ojca i Syna i Ducha Świętego. Amen.

Obviously you never heard about this.

Clearly you were too busy memorizing Marxist-Leninist rubbish instead during the PRL.

And as far as your previous claims about attending Catholic Church, well, you are either lying about that or never once paid attention to anything going on during a mass.

Really? In which volume and chapter?? I must read it - I love such thrilling stories. Are there any spies like James Bond, my fav character??? hahahahaha

never once paid attention to anything going on during a mass.

Of course. When the sermon begins, I always go to an empty confessional and play on my Gameboy. I usually play RC priest simulations. I have to take a break when a granny comes to confess - then I have to hear and absolve her . It is fun! hahahaha

buhahahaha

you are either lying

Darling, I never lie in the forum, remember,.

OMG! LOL!

You can't even recognize the gospel citation in the photo I provided!

Even if you aren't a Christian (and clearly you are not) anyone who is well read and follows history in general can tell when the Bible or other religious texts are being referenced.

Here commie:

Mateusza 28:19 SNP
Idźcie więc i pozyskujcie uczniów pośród wszystkich narodów. Chrzcijcie ich w imię Ojca, Syna i Ducha Świętego.
