will appreciate my costly Chanel cream even more now ...

how would he know, if he's never had his own foreskin? (well, only for a shortwhile, before it went in the Nivea)

OMG..ROTFLMAO!! AS I catch up with the forums..THIS made my evening.

**now eyes own high dollar cream ingredients with suspicion**

lol most girls prefer a beautiful circumcised penis over a smelly uncut cheese-covered schmeckle.

**fixes** most girls prefer anything over a smelly * cheese-covered schmeckle

Though, if that is problem ..whole guy is probably someone you prefer not staining your sheets with odor. eeew. And I will apply that to feet too! Since I ..like hands feet..I like to rub, massage an play with. No cheese or crakers in bed please.

Actually I am fascinated by possibility of the guy being more sensitive. The possibility of making him say MY name. Hmmmm.Intriguing.

BTW -
when this fashion of the "Circumcision for all" started in the USA? Before WW2 or after?

I think before. They also used to perform clitoridectomies on unruly women.

Yeah, but I wonder when exactly the circumcision has become a standard in the US?

Wikipedia says this:

Circumcision has only been thought of as a common medical procedure since late Victorian times. In 1870, influential orthopedic surgeon Lewis Sayre, a founder of the American Medical Association, began using circumcision as a purported cure for several cases of young boys presenting with paralysis or significant gross motor problems.

Peter Charles Remondino was active in the last couple of decades of the Nineteenth Century.

Yep. But you know - there is a huge difference between some famous surgeon who think that cutting is good, and the surgical procedure that is seen as standard. I wonder when exactly in the US the circumcision had became a srt of standard.

Let's put it as a question: If you are an American - is your grandfather circumcised?

(of course this question does not apply to Jews or Muslims for obvious reasons)

His book popularised it among doctors.

If you are an American - is your grandfather circumcised?

I wonder how many people can answer a question like that.

Yep. You right! :D
"Grandpa, show me your winnie, please!" - that would be totally unacceptable.

I am little confused. Obviously - the circumcision was a standard for certain religious groups. Not only the Jews and Muslims. Also for Armenians and others. But at some point in history this practice was accepted as a standard for the wast population of the United States. There should be no problem with pin-pointing this moment. But frankly - the information on the subject is rather hard to reach.

All we know is that right now the majority of the male population of the US had undergo this surgical procedure.

Because Jewish Urologist who wanted to promote Zionism say its a cure for cancer, and Anglo-Saxon Puritans who don't want the Polish coming to America and masterbaiting, say its a cure for masturbation!

But the thread is about why cicumcision is NOT practised in Poland. We are all well aware that this is very popular in the States though as this article from NBC news suggests:

msnbc.msn.com/id/16776931/ns/health-childrens_health/t/cut-or-not-circumcision-controversy-flares/

The United States leads the way in the number of babies circumcised each year. Estimates vary widely, ranging from 50 percent to more than 90 percent of newborn boys circumcised, depending on the region of the country (federal data from 1999 showed hospital circumcision rates of 81 percent in the Midwest, 66 percent in the Northeast, 64 percent in the South and 37 percent in the West) and religion (the Jewish and Muslim faiths traditionally call for circumcision). In Europe, Asia and Latin America, baby boys are not routinely circumcised, and the circumcision rates here have been dropping steadily over recent years.

In Europe most of us still have our Thorskins! And we're very proud of it:P

^^
Maybe that is the reason of that common opinion that life in Europe is more relaxing than in USA?
We have just better sex life thanks to this little bit of skin :) :)

That would also explain USA affair with wars... Sexually unfulfilled men are always looking for trouble... ;)
One can go on and on like this... Like americans run for wealth is just a symptom of looking something which was lost..
Taking more and more but never fully satisfied...

I am spiritually uncircumcised so do not need to fight wars, crusades, zionism, shria law... etc. Odin sent Thor down from the heavens to die for the sins of humanity....

He told the world that things like animal sacrifice and circumcision were unnecessary for humanity....
Sound familiar?
He was not circumcised spiritually and physically!
May the power of Thor be with you!

There are people who think the human penis should be more like animals' penises are. They don't understand how the human foreskin works to make sex more enjoyable for both partners by cushioning the hard cavernosa of the penis and also reducing friction by more than 10 times. It should be obvious how the human foreskin makes sex better. Unfortunately there are men who were circumcised at birth who feel the need to justify their egotistic feeling that their penis is superior to others' for some reason, so they go around acting like intact (uncut) is wrong somehow. It's sad that some people have so little awareness. It's sadder that everyone can't immediately see what they're doing. And it's saddest of all that some parents cut the skin off their son's penises because they don't know what they're doing. Polish parents don't cut their babies for no reason because they're not as misinformed as so many American parents are. That should be a point of pride!

To answer to the topic question, maybe because they are a civilized country. No matter which opinion you have (if it looks nicer, smells better...), circumcise someone without any medical reason is just a barbaric mutilation, like many other that you can still see in some African countries and everyone will condemn. In my country is also not a common practice at all, I even think you can only do it after some good medical reason/justification. My mother always told me that when I was a small child my doctor always check that to be sure it's not needed to take the EXTREME measure of circumcision. When you will be over 18 if you would like to make that because you like it, its your right like some woman can increase the breast size, or someone can make a tattoo, BUT do it to a born child without any medical reason is just an ancient non sense mutilation that should be forbidden, at least in modern civilized countries!

Merged: Male circumcision must be outlawed in Poland

This horrible, savage practice of cutting away flesh for religious or cultural reasons or flawed medical under the pretext of better hygiene has no place in a country like Poland where such practices were never in introduced by the natives (Slavic people). It is a foreign procedure practiced by some ethnic minority. Majority of Polish population is against it and must voice its objection to it.

For once we agree. I don't give a flying f'*ck about what's 'slavic' or what is isn't but circumcision is just pointless and harmful mutilation.

There's actually a thread about this here - maybe the mods will merge.

I live where the hell I like within Europe and have a right to live here, which you by the way don't.

However circumcision, an American habit is wrong. A pointless thread since male circumcision is not routinely practised in Poland.

You do not get to live where you want to, my country officials have to let you in first. My ancestors fought for my country so for as long as you live in it you respect our laws, get it? It is not a pointless thread, it is not the frequency of practice but its legality, it does not matter whether one person or million people will be affected as a result, it should not be practiced upon anyone person.

You do not know where I live, and you will never find out, my country is Poland even if I end up in another universe, so **** off with your ********, **** yourself and do not tell me what my country or my nationality is you ****en wandering miserable Jew! I have a country, you don't, your choice *****, do not pour your misery unto others.

Most males in North America are un-aware circumcision is a Jewish/Muslim practice. The joke is don't use the urinal in Europe if you're an American. Hahah

our

As a teenage Australian, you'be never even visited our continent and probably never will and your or anybody else's 'ancestors' are an irrelevance. My own ancestors were from Poland and even wore the crown of this country but that doesn't give me or anyone else the right to snark...

As is this thread, since circumcision is not done here.

an American habit is wrong

Not really American habit, more like habit of certain ethnic group pushed on Americans.Hard to believe how backward and uneducated in regard to male circumcision Americans are! Majority of them believe that not having your "hood" removed will give you all kinds of diseases including cancer! It is changing for better though.

Many have spoken about the chances of getting cancer as a result of keeping foreskin and more specifically the built up under it, however, the hysteria around failed to wane for nobody in USA (apart from few quiet voices) actually stood up and ridiculled such reaseach for its bias, a research has to broad and consider a variety of aspects, this one has been taken out of context, as one American female surgeon said" the chances of getting cancer of a penis due to being uncircumcised are as high as seeing a reindeer on a Californian beach in the middle of summer season" or something along the lines of that - basically she meant: "the chances are next to none".

It is changing for better thoug

This is good, however the reason Americans do it isn't in any way shape or form because of

habit of certain ethnic group pushed on American

It's because doctors there are unfortunately allowed to charge money to their patients or to their patients so-called health insurance so they push it as something they can get an income from. That and Protestant American Puritanism that thinks sex is bad - because circumcision damages sexual response and men who've had it feel and enjoy less.

There are no health benefits whatsoever from male circumcision (unless you're an adult who needs it for the obvious) and to inflict it on a child is abuse.

Yes, you are a d...head, however this thread is pointless since we don't routinely practice circumcision here unless the person has either phimosis or a foreskin that hasn't properly retracted.

I have never seen one in Poland that has that issue.

Majority of them believe that not having your "hood" removed will give you all kinds of diseases including cancer!

At this point it's mostly an American Porn cultural norm. Americans watch A-LOT of pornography so it has a direct affect on their mindsets. "I don't want my child to be picked on in Physical Education class/locker room" is the main argument these days. Decreased sensitivity because of the snip is becoming more well known though.
