What is the best city in Poland to live in? Relocating to Poznan?

I also recommend Cracow :) I've lived here for 4 years now and I love it. Many job opportunities, cultural events, and good clubs and restaurants. It is a good place to study and work, but I think I would move to a more peaceful and cheaper place when I'll retire :)

Really? So I guess you'll show up at the PF meeting in December?

Hopefully :) I'm new at PF, I didn't know that there are some meetings of its participants! But I'd love to see who's behind those nicknames :) Regards

Which city would you advise?

Not only is Zabrze the most beautiful city in all of Europe, but it also has a number of banks and a state-of-the-art transportation system.

If the OP has masochistic tendencies, absolutely. :) If not, out of that list of 5 cities Krakow or Poznan with my favourite being Krakow

Wrocław, Poznań or Kraków in order of prices
Kraków, Wrocław or Poznań in order of "niceness".

Conclusion - Wrocław

I hate traffic in Wroclaw, although I suspect in every major Polish city is the same.

Very good - German architechture too :)

I was amazed to see that Gdansk was voted Poland's prettiest town. It needs 100 years - the Soviets made sure of that by blitzing the place.

Szczecin is out, after the opening of the tunnel in Swinoujscie, there are eternal traffic jams on the motorway bypass of Szczecin. The Germans loved the tunnel
