I thought some of you may be interested to know that Onet.pl is showing new Polish shows on-line [vod.onet.pl].

Some are free while others cost little money to watch.

I like "Usta Usta" (mouth to mouth).

I looked for an appropriate thread but could not find one.

bet you do..

Anyways, it seems it works properly, my mum watches god save us bold and beautiful through their streaming service and I've seen "Klub szalonych dziewic" or something like that. Some adverts every 30 minutes or so but it's not that annoying.

Now that is a stupid business model. Pay to view? Don't think so somehow. Advert supported maybe.....

Why?

These aren't multimillion blockbuster movies.

Advert supported maybe.....

Yes, I presume so.
TVN is a privately owned business, they want viewers and get money from advertising, like the normal television.

Merged: Do you know how can I watch Polish TV online for free?

Like streaming.....something like that......do you know any website that allows you to watch Polish tv channels for free, in real time?
I'd like to improve language, so I think it'd be useful to watch Polish TV.

Thank you in advance
Gaetano

Those mohair berets shouldn't have much longer ;) ;)

I welcome the idea of free tv. It's simply another option which can easily be used.

TVN is the fox news of Poland. They practice reporting half truths and encourage hysteria for the sake of t.v. profits.

Uh, every single media outlet in Poland does that.

I've tried TVN and they say they can't show the video in my country cause they can only broadcast it within Poland. Why is that?

Hi, I was just wondering if it was posible to view Polish television (polsat tvn etc) via streaming on the net, preferably for free.

Can someone recommend the best site for this in terms of quality and speed.

Thanking you kindly.

I get the same thing from youtube here in Poland sometimes, it does my head in.
If it's not copyright infringement, I don't see the problem.

President of Polish Television TVP Jacek Kurski was dismissed from his post yesterday by a decision of the National Media Council.
Sounds like a political move to me.

It's state television, what you expect? One of the main reasons PiS was obsessed about media was that they wanted their own media outlet that sided with them, until a certain point in time TVP employees were unwillingly doing what they were told by PiS. Until PO threatened with taking down TVP for being pro-PiS.

That endangered TVP payrolls which motivated TVP to launch a anti-PO "media crusade" basically and became staunchly pro-PiS for real

Free Polish TV channels online - helpful resource for Polonia

As someone who misses watching Polish TV while abroad, I wanted to share a resource I found - Global Free TV (globalfreetv dot com/countries/poland). It's a simple site that lets you stream Polish channels online.

I notice a lot of forum members here are Polish people living abroad or those interested in Polish culture. Thought this might be useful for keeping up with news and entertainment from Poland.

The site is pretty straightforward - no registration needed. Just visit and start watching. Though currently the channel list is being updated, so check back later for more content.

Has anyone else found good ways to watch Polish TV outside Poland? Would be interested in hearing your experiences.
