A tree obscuring a satellite dish - illegal in Poland?

One of my neighbor's trees has grown too tall for my satelite dish to work. Is there a law in Poland whereaby he is obliged to cut it back for my sat to work? Thank you for any advice.

@Kasper2025

Have you considered that it may be easier to move the dish, than to move the tree?

Absolutely. Actually the situation is the reverse. He wants me to cut down my thuya for his dish to keep on working. I had a similar situation on my dish side, and I simply had my dish pole extended up to fix the issue. But this guy wants to take an easy path and get me to cut the tree back. This obviously can be done, but it would be a cost to me. He threatened me with some law that I am obliged to cut down my tree on that grounds, rather then move his dish. Hence my question.

The way you had written your original post - it was exactly the reverse of what you had just said.

Well done.

He threatened me with some law that I am obliged to cut down my tree on that grounds, rather then move his dish. Hence my question.

I'm not Polish. I don't live in Poland. I have zero familiarity with Polish law... but this seems strange on some fundamental juridical level.

It's hard for me to imagine, why there may be such a law in existence on a national level.

Instead, your neighbor may be referring to some local level laws, or maybe even ordinances written by your local homeowners association.

My advice, plus 10 zloty - will buy you a cup of coffee.

You need permission from the gmina to chop down trees or even to prune them back if they are over a certain type. You can't just chop them down because you feel like it

Even if you agree to do that then you should make your neighbor pay both for the tree surgeon and pay you some for your hassle.
