How to obtain a driving licence. Can I use my own vehicle for a car test here in Poland?

Hi all,

I have a driving licence, with multiple different categories. But unfortunately my wife doesn't have a driving licence. I would like for her to get a car licence at least for now and maybe a bike licence in the future.

I've looked online and on various forums and there is one question I can't get an answer to and I'm wondering if someone can possibly give me an answer here.

Can I use my own vehicle for a car test here in Poland? Can I use my own motorbike for the test here in Poland too?

In the UK you can use your own car for lessons with an L plate. We did that back in the UK, gave her a few lessons, but the L plates are a UK exclusive thing. But in the UK you can use your own vehicle to pass a test. So can I use my own vehicle? Back in the UK a few years ago I did both of those things with my car and motorcycle licence.

Online it says that there is mandatory 30 hours of theory and 30 hours of practical which is fine, but nowhere does it says you HAVE to use the instructors car for the test, who gave you practical lessons for example..

If someone could give me some guidance, that'd be great. Thank you very much. Pozdrawiam =)

I think you cannot do the 30 hours of practical driving using your own car. The reasons: 1) the company needs to make money by letting you use their own car, 2) I think the company's car is supposed to have an "instructor break pedal" in case something goes wrong.

Your private car is not equipped with such safety features. On the other hand, you can take the test using your own car as long as it has valid insurance, registration.
