What do I need to open a restaurant in warsaw

I was thinking about opening a restaurant/bar in Warsaw and wanted to know what are the things that I should keep in my mind going forward!

Such as:
1. Do I need license?
2. How can I register the business?
3. Are there any specific requirements like, the property should have so and so height and specific floor area?

Anything else what you think might be important.

As you'd register any business; there are a few bureaucratic steps however it's easily possible.


Yes, however they aren't strict.

1. yes - permits from the Sanepid (environmental agency) and an alcohol license plus a few other things)
2. Speak to an accountant or google it - there are several types of business. In some cases you might need a work permit if you are non EU

3. Yes - you need to have toilets, fire exits etc but in general the regulation is light - google it.
