Hello, I noticed individuals were looking for the words to this song. My Uncle Joe Kilianski sang this song in his Polka band back in the 1940's. It goes:

WW1. The Polish lyrics mentions trenches and tsar (while the English lyrics mention mud). Listen to it here:

It's one of my favirite Polish Polkas.

Not bad. Music is OK, but these lyrics are a bit simple - the same one stanza and chorus all the time.
