In response to Lesser's posting, it would appear to be true that 'Jewishness' is about ethnic origin but I don't agree with the Nazi point. Many Nazi officers were merely carrying out orders, cogs in the wheel if u will, under heavy pressure from Hitler. Sure, not all had a gun directly pointed at their head, but many had limited discretion. It was an absolute philosophy that had to be executed with precision, often kill or be killed. Also, read the Nuremberg trials with the testimonies of the likes of Hess who could tell at least some of the truth without the threat of Hitler murdering him
