Life / Poles - the Nation of Liars? [478]

historically poland has had to fight for its identity and independence. the polish nation having been promised so many things which have never materialised.-after the end of communistic rule-eventual " freedom" in a democracy-this is difficulty to adjust to. my father had to " lie "to stay alive during the war-"trust" no-one-its hard to deal honesty and truth-when all you have know is the lies of others. i do not think they are a nation of liars-but struggling to accept honesty-they think you are lying to them!!! now with EU status -and more freedom and choice-like being let loose in a candy store-gona grab it while you can and you aint gona let anyone take it from you!!!!. its they insecurity which is the problem.

Genealogy / Are Polish birth records available on the Internet? [56]

the polish are a secreative lot wont give anything away-trust no-one i was brought up with this from my polish father and i must say this still seems to be the case everything is a secret-simple things such as do you drink tea or coffee-the reply is maybe tak maybe nie-keep people guessing. my polish boyfriend is like this-he say big problem when he runs out of milk-now i find this funny-but most times i find it frustrating because i dont know whats true or not-so is this the reason we can find nothing out aboput poland and polish people-got there in the end!!!

Love / Your Thoughts about 20 Year Age Difference Between Men & Women in Poland? [74]

yep go with your instincts and if it doesnt work out regardless of age than its wasnt right -if you care too much about what everyone else thinks more than what you think then maybe its not right. but i do understand family pressure and conformimg to expectation is not easy to stand up to. but if you are both united it will overcome

Love / Your Thoughts about 20 Year Age Difference Between Men & Women in Poland? [74]

if there is a large age gap and and there is a close traditional family the family may not condone it. but if your feelings are true and you stand together. the opinion of family matters only to them and eventually they will accept your happiness-age is a number-milosc sama w sobie jest szczesciem x
