And this is why the EU will collapse, it has become a protection racket for international business and is therefore stuck and cannot evolve, it allows any change that doesn't threaten the business interests at it's core. Even Russia invading Ukraine its still not enough, because protection rackets can only protect what they are designed to protect and nothing more.
