The lesson is that Jewish communities throughout the West are conspicuously silent when non-Jewish populations are subjected regularly to migrant-led looting, arson, assault, rape, and murder.
No group in society deserves to be more equal than others. Therefore, what happened in Australia should be seen as nothing more than a local news story: an expected situation in which vibrant and diverse communities simply bump into each other occasionally in shared spaces.
If anything, those affected deserve the same lecture routinely given to native Western victims by condescending media and elitist governments after migrant-led violence - "Don't look back in anger."
