USA, Canada / There are more billionaires in Poland than in America [8]
Any inputs in the topic?The billionaires in America/Forbes have all legal net worth,but some are way richer in the east including Poland/china/Russia/India.I know some really stinking rich in Poland who have estates/investments and houses like palaces,properties worth billions in Poland and abroad.

Genealogy / Polish blood only makes up 1% of your "Polishness" [77]
ummmm! So in that case my kids who have Polish citizenship and are partly with polish descent dont like to be in Poland or even visit Poland be called POLONIA?
They only use to visit Poland when they were kids and now hate to go there and are in there mid 20s,also they are proud to be Americans being born in the USA.
Whats wrong with being a POLONIA?
Same way I also cannot stand English Teachers in Poland,now will that be fair?

I dont live in Poland but I come there 6/7 times a year and YES I pay taxes,way more then an average person living in Poland without a single grolsh benefit in medical or retirement .Also YES I dont spend money in Poland as it is very expensive for me except for food and my regular living bills.
not with Polish citizens who live here for the majority of the year, pay earnings taxes here, and spend money here

Are you drunk again Doug?They do care as me being a Polish citizen have all the rights which a natural born polish pole has even though I dont have a molecule of Polish blood in me physically & not speaking Polish fluently..YOU GET OVER IT as if you dont give a damn for which I dont care as you are standing exactly the opposite side and challenging what the whole Polish State approves and recognises including the government.Good Luck with your opinion.Are you serious that you are challenging what YOUR govt recognises?I suggest keep it to yourself.

I think you should not worry about it.What can they do with your funds,they will have to give you back except that you cannot operate the account.I almost had the similar situation when citibank told me to come take my money as I dont have a job in Poland and the manager opened the account by mistake.I just told them to burn the money for I care as I will not,I will come when I need the money and they better have it.They couldnt do anything and I still have the account 19 years.

History / Cars made in Poland - during communist and post-communist times [23]
I have it since 2001 after driving for 3/4 yrs i left it in the yard and now getting it restored again.LOL when i drive it 60 kmph people tell me it looks like a flintstone car,and even a cop pulled me over just to ask what the f was that and the customs guys when i imported it told me to take it out as a go cart but I had to explain him that its a car for roads so he had to do the proper paper work.

Mind you Polish sauerkraut is of cabbage.IWhen back home I miss Bar milecznas I eat here 70% of the time in or the govt offices canteens.Real authentic Polish food and the smell of it.lol and em Babcias with aprons serving them.

Even still I have to wait for months for parts for my maluch 1976.Freaking almost 4 weeks and still no brake pads as asked by the mechanic and tyres are a horror to find.

Why is it that so many houses in Poland countryside have no bathrooms where the most bedrooms are?I have visited so many houses in the villages that will have 3/4 bedroom upstairs and 1 bathroom on ground floor.Is there a reason?

I tell you most American airlines suck with customer service,food etc,United and American being the worst.LOT I like but is expensive from EWR to WAW compared to others.Also the dreamliners have reduced my chances for upgrade as they are bigger and rarely overbooked.
They aren't bad compared to some of the other airlines..
