Tusk reminds of Tony Blair. A once revered politician but now universally despised in the UK. Once seen as smooth and persuasive, he now just seen as a lying B'stard. Tusk's time at the EU has shown him to be a Merkel puppet who groomed him as a Polish yes-man. He was more interested in serving the interests of Germany than Poland. I hope that the Polish electorate will recognise this at the time of the next presidential election when Tusk will undoubtedly be in the running.

Polish is probably one of the hardest languages in the world to learn. Personally, I'd suggest you forget about trying to learn it, it's just too hard.

Trump is leader of the Western world and does exert an awful lot of influence on the world. Fortunately he is a great fan of Poland and has a good working relationship with Duda. His speech in Warsaw the other year was very moving and shows how well he understands and sympathises with Poland's plight and suffering during the war. Anyone who calls him an oaf has little understanding of how much a true genius he is.

You don't get it. There was never any opposition to PZPR.... PiS have lots of opposition. People have lots of choices, but the polls have consistantly shown that PiS is way out in front of the rest. Even the combined opposition of this Bolshevik Coalition consisting of six parties which have wildly divergent philosophies cannot overtake PiS.

Keep living in your Bolshevik bubble, but don't pretend to understand the Polish electorate. They are not going to be brainwashed by the 90% German owned anti-PiS media.


I have to admit that Wiadomosci's does include a lot of PiS propaganda, but TVN and Polsat provide even more anti-PiS propaganda. The worst part is that they don't even cover a lot of stories which show PO in a bad light.

It shows that Poland does not have confidence in him doing anything for Poland and this is completely vindicated since he has always sided with his puppet master Merkel and gone along with German interests rather than Poland. He would have been all in favour of Nord Stream 2 to help the Russians since he is in favour of Poland paying the highest gas prices in Europe.

You do realise he was in charge when agreeing the incredibly high gas prices with Russia which will still be in effect until 2022.
He didn't even try to negotiate a price - reeks of a backhander.

You are probably too young to remember but before 1989 there were 3.5 million members of PZPR - the vast majority of whom became members to get a job which you had to do to have a decent job. There is no indication that Piotrowicz adheres to Communist ideology and there is no reason to call him a Communist.

Incidentally one aim of PZPR was to ban religion. Notice anything similar with the latest speeches from the Bolshevik Coalition? They are intent on denigrating the Church and getting religion out of public life, just like the old Communists.
