Love / Polish Girls negative or positive personality trait? [267]

Sorry torny, the smart ones know what they are doing in the kitchen.

smart ones, my goodness me these girls were top of the class, i guess that just shows that the Poles are sometimes more obsessed with education than everyday living :)

look mate i'm off to bed and i'm sure i'll read the rest of this in the morning, just think of it like this, i'm a Brit. I'm a patriotic Brit at that, even i can see/admit that the German Army of WWII was the 2nd best military force in the whole of history.

You just have to look at what the army achieved in such a short period of time, look at the weapons development, field tactics development, the ruthless way it carried out its work, let alone the organisational side of things. On the ground the Gemans were awesome, in the skies they were ok but not as good as the RAF and in the sea probably better than most at the time.

Absolutely but thats again because Russian military sucked uncomonly bad even for the period, apart from that Russians didnt outnumber the Wehrmacht as much as Western allies did and still got better results through sheer determination, apart from that it proves that Germany didnt need the world piling up to defeat it, all it took was Russia.

your missing the point a little, you took on the German army at its lowest possible point. It was over stretched, under bad leadership and nobody knew a jot what the hell was going on and where, even when the guys on the ground were telling the high command what was going on they ignored them!!!!

If you had taken them on in the height of their powers it would have been a no-contest.

So you mean that generals who practically invented mechanized warfare, in-depth defence and perfected blitzkrieg and combined arms combat used today by the entire world, and conquered militaries collectively numbering over 7 milion soldiers were incompetent?:)

those people were under command themselves, their hands were tied by the German high command, isn't that obvious to you??? Even in the book 'Stalingrad' it is made clear that Hitler had lost the plot and ignored all his generals.

Russia in 1940 had 5.3 milion soldiers, 3 times more tanks then all the armies of the rest of the world combined, twice the artillery, Red Army had more machineguns and smgs then all the armies of Europe, German generals were geniuses but it takes a bloody miracle for such a country to stand no chance.

yet they did not have enough guns for each man :) what sort of condition were the soldiers in??? i can tell you now, NOT GOOD. what good are guns if the guys holding them are fooked.

you talk absolute crap, if the German high command was even slightly competent then the Russians would of stood no chance, they would have been tactically, mechanically and moral wise been out done by a much stronger force.

are you on some sort of crusade to prove the Soviets were better or stronger than than Gerry?? lets be honest shall we, if they had compitant leaders making good sound military decisions and were not gready like Hitler. Germany could have done what the hell of what was left of Russia when they attacked, if the German high command had planned better (Decided to invade Russia later on in the war) Ivan would have been crushed.

I hate to admit it but the only thing that stopped the German war machine, was the Germans themselves, they got over confident and gready.

Well...who dishes out must be prepared to take it, only fair!

fair play to you, a lot of people may have taken that as trying to be provocative, you saw it for what it was though, an explanation of what happens in wartime.

But would you really call it Karma???
Russia paid a huge price and afterwards they had decades of more Gulags before them...compare that with Germany!

If that is Karma...

actually that is a fair point as well

I didn't know we had a one-front war only???

no but i think the Russians gave you a taste of your own ruthless medicine :) Didn't take prisoners, raped, looted, stole and killed anything that looked like Gerry. A strange thing Karma isn't it.....

You're an idiot or an American, in 1940 Russians had the best tanks, the best artillery their purpose built PPSH was a beast in urban and assault fighting, in land combat Russians were 3 years ahead of Germans in 1940.

jeez could you not see i was joking, i mean really come on, i was relating to the James Bond view of Russians (their all spies and sneaky basterds :) )

I would take the M16 anyday!

fook that, atleast the AK 47 does not jam all the freekin time!!!!

the safe bet is that Gerry designed it, built it and used it first. I bet the Russians paid some Gerry to hand over the blue prints/sent spies in to find out, then redesigned, rebuilt their own version and then used them :):):)

Those Ruskies are sneaky little.......... Ivan didn't have a clue when it came to doing something itself but when it came to stealing the information or bribing people for it, they were the bee's knees.

Nothing made a sound like a diving Stuka, wouldn't of liked to of been an allied convoy on dead ground hearing those mother humpers coming from the sky, the definition of death from above.

History / Weapons of WWII (Poland and other countries) [239]

Ok i've got a few weapons of WWII:

Panzer VI Tiger:

A heavy tank constructed to counter the T-34 tank of the Soviet Union, this has to be one of the best WWII Tanks about with awesome firepower and heavy armour.

Panzerschreck:

I think it means something like 'Tank Terror' or 'Tank Killer' either way this is what i call a 'boomstick!!!' Tanks are tough but take one of these in the wrong place and its of to the tank heaven in the sky

Panzerschreck

Lancaster Bomber:

The Lancaster bomber was the main 'heavy' bomber used by the RAF after its intro in 1942, not only could it drop a lot of bombs in one flight but also had a front, mid and rear gunner to give a much larger area of vision for defense of the bomber.

Lancaster Bomber (avro)

of course there are lots more but i thought i'd start of with these.

Who's bored of the traditional WWII threads? We did that, you did this, if it wasnt for us etc etc..

spot on!! good idea for a thread

Love / What do Asian boys think about Polish girls? :) (and vice versa) [150]

if you love them so much why not move to Asia?"hey asian look at meee i'm a willing Polish girl yay!!". pffft. jak masz chcicę to spadaj pod latarnię.

She's the Polish ***** for the Asians :) maybe it would stop them bothering all the other women if they knew they could have one of them on tap :):)

I've always asked my Polish female friends 'which guys are the ones are most persistant even though you have said no??' & 'which guys are the worst sex pests??' usually the answer: Asians or Arabs (maybe they don't know that these are one in the same) closely followed by Italian men with the drunken Brits coming in third :)

P.S. the other question, 'which men do you not like to date??' the answer: ARABS (a defined answer)

Life / Why are so many Polish People rude on the internet? [96]

Well, you were butting in without knowing what on earth you were talking about!!

really, i think i've got a good idea about what is rude and what isn't rude, i have spoken on the internet before you know. Ow and yes to Polish people, whether or not they are speaking English or Polish you can still judge whether they are being rude or not.

Speak Polish do ye lad? Go on, give us a laugh!! No, I'll take you to task and show that you really shouldn't be on this thread.

Ow really, well if you want to know, i've had a similar discussion with 'actual' Polish people who were 'actually' talking on a Polish forum in Polish. They were giving me examples and translating what was being said, we were not discussing 'rude' as a subject but about the sort of language used, swear words etc etc. I've done it a number of times as i'm actually interested in other cultures and people's behaviour within those cultures.

So please don't tell me what thread i should or should not be on :) its not your decision, never has been and probably never will be. As for your short temper, i wasn't expecting it from you but hay ho there you go, learn something new everyday :)

What Polish sites do you frequent?

well i've heard it from the horses mouth so i don't need to thanks

If you were my father then you could tell me what i can and cannot do, as your not then i politely ask you to reframe from commenting on what i should and should not be doing, let alone what conversations i'm allowed and not allowed to have.

Just because you have a chip on your shoulder, or are in a mood, there is no excuse for you bringing your problems to the forum.

Life / Why are so many Polish People rude on the internet? [96]

what is the point in discussing one type/nationality/culture if there is nothing to measure them by?? Surely to be considered rude you need to allign them with other examples, people, cultures etc etc.

Yes your discussing Polish people but this is not such a big problem 'Poles been rude on the internet' when you look at the bigger picture :) In fact they are rather placid when it comes to the bigger picture.

So you can stick your mood back from wherever it came from and tell it to somebody who cares because i couldn't give 2 you know whats about your mood, if your in a bad mood and feel like it may effect others then log off and cry into your tissue or hit a punch bag.

Life / Why are so many Polish People rude on the internet? [96]

Torny, I'm not in the best of moods (understatement) so I refer you to post 84 above, point out that this is about Polish people (NOT Brits) and await your response.

what i'm trying to point out is that like the OP seemed to point towards is that Poles in particular are rude on the net, well actually it does not seem to be the case at all, everybody is.

Everybody is a bit different when their on their keyboard from when they are face to face, yes its about Poles but there is nothing special about the Poles been rude on the net, its a common thing.

As for your mood thats not my show...

Torny, how many Polish pages have you read? What is your level of Polish? I read many and can tell you that there are swear words everywhere. It's their way.

what and the Brits never swear :) your having a laugh right :)

News / Poland's fight against paedophilia [277]

Funny you should say that actually, you won't be surprised to hear that you wrong, well at least in my case. I spent a lot of my younger years around guns, weapons etc etc. Down to the fact whenever i saw my father it was always at a marine camp/base/whatever.

Being the sensible person my father is, instead of hiding me away from all the guns, weapons etc, he actually taught me about the weapon (his gun) getting me to clean it, take it apart and assemble it again. I had to do this many many times before he would even think of taking me out and teaching me how to use it, at first i learned by watching and listening to him.

Eventually in my later teen years he allowed me to fire the gun on the camp where he was based, i won't ramble on about the ins and outs as i don't even think it was legal. He also showed me (at home) where he kept the gun and where the ammo was (it was never loaded) He told me that if there was ever real trouble, like somebody breaking into the house if i was there alone or if he was in trouble, that it was there for me to defend myself and my family if he was in trouble or not at home. Of course no such thing ever happened and there was no need for me or anybody else to take it out let alone use it, in many peoples eyes my father would be considered 'irresponsible' in my eyes he took away the 'wow' factor of the gun and instead taught me to respect them.

So in answer to your question, could i shoot a pedophile or a rapist, yes. For two reasons really, i have a younger sister, it would not be difficult to imagine my thaughts had that pedophile got anywhere near her. Second, i've fired a gun and have no problems doing it again, real targets or not. For sure the pedophile would end up dead but how i would deal with the 'aftermath' its anybodies guess. Another thing my father told me, when it coes to killing people its not the killing itself that is difficult, it is dealing with what you have done afterwards.

take from that what you will.

No you're just a faggy couch potato who makes morally heavy statements but if put in a real life situation due your peanut sized balls and hollywood based outlook on life and death hitting real life you would be unable to do anything but cry like a raped wuss, my personal philosophy is to never have an opinion i couldnt stand behind myself.

well its something i could stand behind, i don't see why you resort to name calling to try and back up your points of views about me, infact for anybody else who may think the same.

These people are twisted dark and broken and yes sometimes they need to be killed so our kids/women sleep in peace but i hope cowardly pathetic lowly couch preachers like you never ever have a say in matters of their life and death.

ok stop your silly name calling and actually have a discussion, at the moment all you are doing is banding names about, nothing else. You can call me what you like but in reality you know nothing about me or my state of mind when it comes to these sorts of people.

I will just say one thing, i work with children on almost a daily basis, i would not like to see any of them harmed. I would do anything and support anything to secure their safety, so please stop the name calling and have a proper debate/conversation/discussion

Thanks

T

News / Poland's fight against paedophilia [277]

I think its a good idea, its probably going to be the closest we get to giving them what they deserve. I'm not sure exactly what effects that would have on a pedo or anybody else for that matter, it would for sure take away the sexual desires but not all the other stuff that pedo's do. I mean even just spending time with children, talking with them, god knows what else.

I see it as a step in the right direction but not what deserves to happen to them, if you ask me these pedophiles, rapists etc need putting down, i don't really care how you do it, lethal injection etc etc. Why do people like this need to populate the earth, its proven that it can't be totally 'rehabilitated' out of these fantasies/desires, so why not just bin them off. It would save a lot of money feeding them and keeping them alive in prison.

As far as i'm concerned they could help us find a cure to cancer, AIDS etc, hand them over to the scientists for a bit of 'voluntary work' or 'in the interest of science' Ow and no, i'm not Austrian, i don't have a little mustache and i definetly have not started any sort of movement!!!

Follow Forum Rules or you may never have 2nd chance to chat

well i've said many things on this forum in my time here and have never had a single run in with the admin. I think i may have upset a mod once, however that was more of a personal thing rather than anything i actually did to anybody else.

I am not here to start troubles for everybody. I noticed everybody is arguing. Board told me to behave myself. So I did.

no no, i didn't say you were here to cause trouble, please do not misunderstand me, i was refering to your arrival rather than your intentions
