Yes Jon, you are right when you say my blog is authetic. In earlier posts I wrote about £ukasz and as you can see I wrote a post about Rafał there as well. I wonder if I will ever hear from him again. Maybe someday I'll meet someone as nice and humble as Rafał, if I dare to hope. Too bad I was not important to him.

People tell me that I shouldn't let Rafał's opinion define who I am.
But Rafał is a good person so I trust his opinion.

In my mind's eye I picture myself with my head on Rafał's shoulder. I have my hand on his chest, I imagine it not to be hairy, hope I am correct, then I look up at Rafał and he smiles at me in a kind way.
Rafał is a down to earth person and he would not give a beagle's ass if I was wearing makeup or not, he does not care about stuff like that. He knows the important things in life.
I am sure that Rafał is in jail or in a drunken stupor because otherwise he would have contacted me, Rafał is too much of an angel to let a friend down like that.
It sucks that Rafał did not think it is worth taking some time to communicate with me, I wonder why....

I think Rafał has a girlfriend. Some people in our group of friends had a girlfriend despite being homeless/alcoholic/criminals because they found a woman in a similar situation. There were definitely very few females in our group but I suppose Rafał could have found someone in a similar situation.

I was just thinking that maybe Rafał lost track of time because he was drunk. He may still be in that lifestyle after maybe not finding a job. £ukasz was similar before, when I first held his hand, after that I didn't see him for 2 weeks and I wondered why he didn't go to the soup kitchen before it closed to see me, and then I saw him at the day centre. I motioned for him to wait for me but he thought I was leaving so he left without saying more to me, the mind works kind of differently if clouded by alcohol, you lose track of time....and now the soup kitchen will be closed til January 6 so Rafał really couldn't get ahold of me now.

This forum inspired me to join some other random Polish forum so I went on one about programming but so far looks like people aren't looking for friendship on there....I don't just like to post on the boards but also meet new friends.

Thanks Englishman....No, I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I don't mind at all if Rafał still drinks or is homeless, he probably isn't because he was now looking for work, which would suggest his mentality changed, I just said maybe he is still drinking as a possibility as to why he hasn't gotten back to me....It doesn't bother me if someone drinks and is homeless as long as they are a pleasant, good person, and about having a criminal record, as long as overall they are a good person, it also doesn't bother me.
Update on the Polish forum about programming that I joined....Someone I wrote to replied to my message...a new friend, perhaps????

Joined a Polish programming forum as I wanted to find a forum similar to this one (no one here seems interested in friendship either) where people were interested in friendship, wrote to 60 people but none were interested in friendship....any idea why? I just wrote that I'm new, my name is Maya, and I'd like to know new people...I give up on that forum :/ Maybe people don't want to have friends on internet or something, maybe that's why Rafał didn't want to communicate with me too....though I thought people would want friendship....
Hm, I think after sending out 60-70 messages 2 people may be interested in friendship :)
They told me their name and age and I wrote them asking if they wanted to talk so I'm waiting to hear back from them :)

I don't think simply living in a country will teach you the language, so best bet is probably to work hard with it :D
I had many Polish friends who lived in England more than 5 years and only knew a few important words like arrested, police, lighter :)

Maybe you can look for a book like this, I had one before but I lost it, otherwise I would tell you. Or maybe someone can do the test in English, wish you best of luck because it seems you need a licence now.

I do have friends in real life, but they rarely have time to meet, because they work 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. We meet once a month maximum.
So it's great to have people to talk to online as well.
I met my partner, Michal, on this site actually and I am going to call him today. It is very nice to have someone to talk to about what you did that day and other **** like that.
