Life / Are there any Muslim areas in Poland? [173]

Zero for a start (which is coincidentally exactly how relevant your question is to Muslims in Poland).

Zero was given by India - just saying

Food / Is there a Indian store in Wroclaw? [20]

Hi Balaji,

You can order everything online from littleindia.pl/lang/en
They deliver across Poland. And have enough options.

Work / Cost of living in Lodz, is 2450-6400 PLN salary enough? [25]

Considering you are coming alone (and not with your family) and you are ready to share a flat with someone, around 600-700 will be the cost for your flat. Rest if you calculate 30-40 zl per day expense of food and alcohol. It will come around to another 1000-1200 zl.

and you will be left with 500-800zl for other expenses.
The bonus will be a boon to you.

Work / Working as a contractor in Poland - Non EU citizen and an one-man business [5]

Hello,

Yes, and it has been corrected

Aren't you the person who was given a residence card with the wrong place of birth last year? I am curious what was the outcome of that?

I think things has eased up a bit now

As far as I know, non-EU nationals cannot register as a one person company in Poland, with few exceptions for nationals of countries that have special agreements with Poland (exceptions include nationals of Switzerland for example).

But I am not sure, of course - thats why I am here.

My main concern is regarding work permit , once i open my business , do I need a work permit to take work on the contracts I get or there is some different set of rules for business.

Life / Is a prescription needed to get morning after pills in Poland? [34]

Well, I think , making it easily available can help in those times when there is a long break - lets say during Christmas or Easter.

And also in cases where the doctor consider their religious value more important than the patient.

A girl can get pregnant in various careless ways , like when couple are not using condom, or both are drunk , in these cases, its better to take the pill rather than making things complicated with an unwanted child.

Also an unwanted child may be neglected or not treated well.
The couple may not be even working , the guy may leave the girl alone. So, there are so many different scenarios where these situations may be avoided.

Law / Incorrect data on Polish resident card [12]

I met with their representative and gave them the information. Since , it was three level of information sharing (me, agency, polish firm), the problem could have happened anywhere , thus, the important thing for me is that I should be able to change the details.

Law / Incorrect data on Polish resident card [12]

Hello Harry ,

Thank you for your response.
Since, the whole process was taken care by another agency (law firm) , I don't have any photocopies for the document submitted. But, though i filled these document, the mistake can be from my side as well. I have already contacted the agency, but also since it is Christmas time, they will be busy as well or on leave.

So , I wanted to know the process , so I could proceed myself.
