Real Estate / Rental Income in Poland - how is it taxed ? [3]

I'm making a payment to the tax office for the first time. It's for income on residential property rental.

I've got all the info I need, except I'm not sure about one field that I need to enter on my bank's website. It's "Form / payment symbol:" ("Symbol formularza / płatności:" on the Polish site).

Transfer to the IRS - symbols of the form / payment title
It is not enough for taxpayer to put on the money transfer to the IRS (or proof of payment) only the appropriate bank account number of the tax authority and the amount owed tribute. It must also quite pinpoint exactly what the title of this tax is paid.

Title this generally means the form of the symbol and the period to which it relates.

I think the appropriate code is PPE *) "zryczałtowany podatek dochodowy od przychodów ewidencjonowanych" (flat-rate income tax on registered income).

Can anyone advise?

Real Estate / Where can I find a nice area to rent a studio or one-bedroom apartment in or near Katowice? [48]

:google tells me it takes about 7 minutes by car from Katwoice to Bytom or Chorzow

I get 12 mins on google from University of Economics in Katowice to Chorzow Rynek, 19 mins to Plac Sikorskiego in the centre of Bytom by car. Door to door times would be much longer given the traffic. I'm not sure how you got 7 minutes!

I think Smurf's google map link (goo.gl/maps/4SWrZ) looks like a good suggestion - not far from the University of Economics and the city centre.

If you want an idea of travel times between different places, look at rozklady.kzkgop.pl/index.php.

The tram stop for the University of Economics appears to be Zawodzie Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny.

Maybe there's somewhere a short journey on the tram that would be cheap in a reasonable area? I do not recommend commuting from outside Katowice.

Thanks. I googled "kursy polskiego dla obcokrajowców w Katowicach" and it gave a few results.

I searched for the same on zumi.pl and it gave some interesting looking results, too.

Study / Intensive Polish Course - the best schools in Poland? [21]

I can reccomend CLIL they have Polish courses in Katowice, Krakow, Wrocław, Gdańsk and Warsaw.

Is there a website for CLIL? I presume that's the name of the school. I tried googling "CLIL Katowice" but I only get links to the teaching method, also called CLIL!
