Meaning, if Germany loses, Poland loses too!

Nope. The old Europe will loose. The Emerging Europe, Central Europe and post soviet states are more sane. We will survive. Germany were culturally stronger in the XIX century but now the tides changed and Poland has a much stronger cultural definition.

So your reality distortion may work in improving your mood, Bratwurst Boy, but it won't change facts.

I can look around me to see that we're standing strong. And when I go to Germany all I see is a state of decay.

But I have to thank Germany for their recent stupid political decisions. Thanks to that, those Poles (especially the old ones born in a communist state) who still had some inferiority complex towards the West, got cured. This rendered a great political shift in Poland. Like I said, the future is bright.

@Bratwurst Boy

When Germany is gone there won't be any Poland anymore either....start thinking man!

That's simply not true. Poland has survived the madness of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia combined. Poland has survived partitions and remained true to itself. We're just simply much more resilient than you. And much more prepared for hard times to come. But you'll never understand the Polish soul. One has to have a drop of a Polish blood to understand that.

To be honest, judging form a historical perspective, there's no worse option for Poland than having Germans as our neighbour. So even having a radical muslim state behind our border is still less threatening to our sovereignty than neighbouring Germans when you look at our past "affairs" from a historical perspective.

I'm worried about the future of Poland and I believe that now it's our time to flourish. But if I was a German I would be deeply worried.

...and another survey...the most actual one:The Germans are happy!

Feeling happy because the economy is doing well and that the welfare state provides is not the same as a fact of feeling pride of being German and belonging to German nation. Those are two different things. And that's what happens in Germany. "Happiness" won't help you to win the cultural war that has started in your country. Only a strong patriotism would.

And patriotism in Germany equals nationalism equals fascism because you're not known around the world for being a moderate society :-P

@Bratwurst Boy

I'm just glad I was born a German...historical warts and all...cool people, cool country...meine Heimat!

You're alone in your opinion then, since public opinion polls show that most Germans are ashamed of being German. One day, when Germany is gone, you may find your new heimat in Poland. But first you'll have to learn our language and our culture. Alternatively, you can grow a beard and start studying quran. The choice is all yours my friend :-P

After throwing away the only tool which allows Poland to sit on the table with the big boys

It is not Poland that is destroying the EU, it is Germany and their irresponsible politics over the course of the last years.

And also, if UE is a tool then it is a broken tool. And broken tools need to be replaced or repaired. And the position of overly socialistic UE is weaker and still getting weaker every years as compared to the US and China.

Also, there's no need to leave the UE for Poland cause like I said, the EU will either collapse itself or it will change in a way that suits more conservative societies.

Even traditionally "progressive" societies are becoming more conservative these days. Apart of Germany, France and Sweden which in a long run are lost Italy and Austria are showing a sings of life.

So the best strategy for Poland is to build new alliances like Three Seas Initiative and strengthen the old ones like Visegrad 4 to have a better starting position in the new European order.

It is not Poland that is destroying the EU, it is Germany and their irresponsible politics

@Bratwurst Boy

In what world are you living???

I live in the World of reason and opportunity and not in the world of fear of the unknown (which, for that matter is not that "unknown", it may only be unknown for the old EU). Anyway, with the things are going right now I don't predict that the EU will survive another decade. At least not in this form. So we don't have to do nothing to "prove it". We just wait and see.

And Poles do have an outstanding and quite impressive skills when it comes to adapting to a changing politico-economical environment trust me on that :-)

Next you will say Poland can go it alone on the world market, it will be equal to China, Russia and the US...and the EU will suffer for it.

Equal to Russia? That's an insult. Russian economy, the economy of 140 billion nation, is more or less the size of the economy of Spain. Not to mention that it's not diversified and based mostly on export of crude minerals, gas and oil.

I know that Germany is building a strong bonds with Russian over the Central and Eastern Europe heads and despite Russian aggressive behaviour.

I think Poland shall find a decent fit in the new order, being in the centre of Europe and having a well-diversified economy. Poland should focus all its attention on 3 Seas Initiative and Emerging Europe cause that's where the most opportunities to grow for a developing countries of Europe are. And not be just a producer of components for a German industry.

I can see how this could be seen as a threat to Germany but the position of Germany has significantly weakened in the recent years. Some of that has happened thanks to your wrongdoing and some problems were external, but a fact is a fact.

@delphiandomine

Fuelled entirely by EU cash. If Western Europe wants to send Poland down, it'll be enough to relocate to Slovakia en masse.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. The EU funds are not free: they come with a hefty price of the EU regulations. And the money is also spend in a way that the EU approves. Let's say we loose the EU funds and gain the free market and low tax rates. That would give us much bigger economical boost that we have now.

So my point is that Poland is growing not because of the EU but DESPITE the EU (we flourish thanks to a common market by choke because of the regulations). The only way to prove it is to actually do it.

Let's observe changes in the post-Brexit UK and then make a decision. If the UK choose to become a free market economy with minimal welfare state it will economically weaken the old EU, countries like France especially. The UK has already received more direct foreign investments in 2017 than Germany and France combined! (Poland was third on that list right after the UK and minimally behind Germany)

@Rich Mazur

Trump is the best thing that could happen to Poland right now. And not because he is on our side but precisely because he is disrupting an already established political-economic order. He is our ticket out of "mitteleuropa" politically and economically controlled by Germany. Poland is on the rise and Western Europe doesn't like that fact that they'll have to share the power, wealth and influence and that they will have to compete with a new dynamic economy. Especially since we don't share their "progressive" values we're being seen as intruders and only tolerated as "poor cousins" that just have to keep their mouth shut and nod.

It was worse than you can imagine. I wish I was blessed with Charles Baudelaire's talent for a few precious moments so I could describe it properly cause I'm feeling I was too delicate

Is Germany lost? Sure, in more than one way.

On my way back from Amsterdam 3 years ago I stopped by a petrol station near Berlin.
Since I drove for quite a long time without stopping I wanted to eat something and then to use a toilet.

So I asked the staff where's the toilet (nota bene, in Germany you can't just ask staff a direct question - you have to ring a small bell first to get their attention) and he pointed me towards a shady building nearby.

And then I saw it. It was the FILTHIEST TOILET that I've ever seen in my entire life. Forget about "the worst toilet in Scotland" from Trainspotting. That German toiled was so dirty and smelly that I've almost vomited straight away. It smelled like a rotting zombie who just had a massive crap after eating sauerkaut and bratwurst for the whole previous night.

In that moment I stopped believing in a mythical German "ordnung". To me Germany will remind that filthy toilet for the rest of my days I think...

Sad but true.

So Ze Germans became cucks. I guess that's better for the future of "Mitteleuropa" but it also means that we'll have to face a Caliphate of Germany behind our western border in the future.

Food / Have Polish Women been Poisoned Yet to Hate Men. [60]

Polish girls are just too smart to become feminists. Feminism mostly benefits unattractive women that would have little chance to find an attractive match on a free dating market

Me and my friends went for a eurotrip last summer. We've travelled from Krakow, Poland and went down to Grenada in Spain (and back). Czech Rep. and Alps were beautiful. Austria and especially Germany not so much. I can confirm that some parts of Europe like most of Germany, most of France that we've visited maybe except south-east (Nicea, Cannes) are lost. I have no doubt that they will become muslim countries in our lifetimes. And then Paris. Paris, unfortunately, is a dirty and smelly city - it really literally smells of **** and there are piles of garbage everywhere in the city. [North] Italy is doing much better and south of Spain is [still] pristine. I think that next time I'll take a trip to Hungary and Croatia cause Western Europe is not very European anymore. Not to mention that is less safe to travel there.
