Read the post!!!!! The court set 350Z ! and the couple temp lowered the rate cos they were having financial problems!!! her husband works nights, she works days, childcare is a problem, laziness has nothing to do with it! The ex wife has a reasonable situation.

Just a load of hypocrisy on many of the posters behalves, seen plenty of sympathy and advice to blokes on how to lower or avoid child support payments.

All expats or brits playing holy hell with this OP, load of balls alright for you lot to shag Polish women but woe betide an Irish or british woman falls for a foreign man!

My last post cos some of you are either too thick or too bigger twats to argue rationally with!

Maybe this couple didn't do everything exactly right but they are at least trying to work out some sort of affordable payment. Read the post, the 150Z was a temporary measure only!

Back in Boston Lincs most of the Polish men + plenty of Brits openly boast about NOT PAYING their child support!!! This bloke has always paid something!

He was trapped into a marriage and at least has attempted to pay his way, the woman won't even let him see his kid, even before he remarried or met his 2nd wife,some mother eh?


Doing the maths between the OP and her husband they are earning roughly 1550-1600 quid per month, rent alone is around 800-900 quid a month in Eire, the cost of living is higher and the benefit system is much stricter, so they won't be getting handouts.There is also high unemployment so a second job isn't likely. They will struggle to give anything, though they are willing to at least try!

People sometimes have kids when they get into relationships! fact. It's not your place to moralise, or do you think only people with posh jobs should have relationships or love each other??


Ever heard of childcare costs, unemployment etc.... it might not be possible/economic to work more than 19 hours a week, why should her 3 kids go without, the woman in Poland has free rent, a guarunteed job and mum/dad pandering to her!


This poor woman has a fair bit going for her and is such a **** ma that she turns her kid against his father even before he meets anyone new. I agree she needs more child support but she also needs a bollocking from social services for her mind games with the kid!

Like it or not 350 or 500z goes a lot further in rural Poland than in Eire.

There has been an awful lot of mudslinging and nasty comments towards this poor woman.
I do agree that her husband should pay more than 150Z per month for his kid but as she said it was a temp measure.

At least the bloke is paying and has always paid something!!!! There's sh-tloads of blokes who pay nothing at all, like my sister's bloke, or just as bad my mate pays £450 a month for his 2 kids and his sl-g ex gives most of it to her alco boyfriend!!!

FFS the women is asking for advice not a lecture on her choice of husband!
The cost of living in Eire is very high compared to Poland and to the UK, they could be paying about 1000 Euros + just for rent.

The Polish ex wife got herself banged up, he did the right thing, he married her, the marriage broke up does it mean he has to be loveless for the rest of his life!!

According to my Polish missus and my in laws, getting money for kids is big business for lots of Polish birds, though maybe not this one in the post.

The Polish Ex has been pretty sh-tty in her behaviour too or a right 's-ka' as my wife said, she's not thinking about her kid's emotional health by her behaviour!

It's a really interesting thread. To look at the initial question, I doubt anyone really helped Poland in September 1939, no one could. The British couldn't mobilise in time to help and were too far away to be of much use. Nearby countries had their own problems and obviously Russia had it's own agenda, Germany was hell bent on invading Poland and would have done so anyway. Within Poland there were Poles who helped themselves but too few to combat Germany and Russia. Help was needed before the war in terms of money, munitions etc.. and a bit of foresight about the German and Russian agendas but then the allied countries were hoping to avoid war.

I belive that Britain genuinely tried to help Poland as much as possible during the war and that Churchill didn't want to sell Poland out but was railroaded by the USA. After the horrors of nazi/fascist activity in Europe the USA might genuinely have believed they were acting in the best interests of Europe as a whole, not that it's any consolation to those under USSR domination! Saving you from **** on the one hand to land you in poo on the other!



Both the USA and the old USSR now Russian federation have apalling records on pollution,but so do China and many other countries. The environmental issue is not a capitalist/ communist issue it's about all countries looking at energy and resources in a different way!

My first serious girl friend was a polish girl. I'd been out with quite a few Polish girls before because there are lots in my area and most of the lads round here have, Roks was my first LTR though! She was gorgeous,thick black hair,brown eyes,olive skin, she never wore make up and was slim but curvy. Roks worked in one of the food factories on the estate but she was really clever and had a job in the labs, her English was brilliant and she knew everything about anything and she had good morals. Her grandparents were gypsies but had been forced to settle by the Polish government, her mum married an ordinary Polish bloke.

I never knew why but all the other Polish girls used to be really ****** about her, they called her 'gruber' and 'mooshin' and say she was ugly or not nice.


A lot of the girls would still try it on with me even though they knew I was serious about Roks, some Fen girls did too but they'd back off once you said you were with someone. I felt like they were trying to break us up,they'd say she was going with some guy or cheating, honest if she'd been shagging as many men as they claimed she'd never have been vertical!!!

Never did get to the bottom of it all,it got to Roks though, you'd have thought they'd have supported her with her being Polish. Though they used to say she wasn't a real Polish woman sometimes. Wasn't like there weren't plenty of other Boston lads to go out with, employed ones too, there's plenty of Polish men as well.

Anyway after a couple years Roks returned to Poland, she wasn't happy with how she was treated by other Poles,she's now in Australia and doing well. I still have fond memories of eating chips outside the Stump, she's still the only woman i know that can fish properly! Sometimes I wish I'd gone back to Poland with her (did visit 6 times) but careers etc... you live and learn.
