Genealogy / Lencznowolska, Maliss looking for my roots [5]

It's Czerwony Bór - Yes you're right I didn't figure it out.

You can try to email the State Archive in Białystok.
This is good idea but as I know it's better to write in Polish than english or both :) And if you know something more about your family it would be easier find something as some documents can they have in Kahals or in ŻIH. I was searching for some information about my grandfather and they were really helpful but unfortunetly it lasted a year but they were looking for in all Archives.

Law / German/Polish Citizenship. Is my father German or Pole? [17]

During WWII my father was born in a refugee camp.

No way he can get a German Citizenship if He was born in a Refugee camp during the WWII in Germany. The other thing is what year he was born and which refugee camp it was? I meant for one Poles the war was finished when the German Army went out of Poland and for the others when Allies took over German territory. As I know history during German occupation either in Poland nor in Germany there were no refugee camps just concentrations camps and work camps or camps for soldiers called Stalagen. But there no children were born. The other camps I know under German control there were camps for Varsovians after Warsaw uprising but they didn't call them refugee camps. the Conclusion is if the camp was under German control he can't get a German citizenship and if it was under control of the other country like American or England he can't get to as well. That time it wasn't important where you was born but was citizenship your parents got.

Law / Dual citizenship (Mother forced to renounce Polish one) [6]

HI,

In my opinion you can. My friend works in Regional Office in Warsaw in Polish Citizenships Department and She told me that They had o lot of cases like yours. They have many applications form Jews and Israeli. If you have all documents and you grandfather has polish citizenship all you need is to apply for Polish citizenship in Polish Embbasy in Israel. They should be helpfull. They tell everything what you need to do. Of course it can last as the documents must be sent to Poland. If you have to apply from your parents' side it will be necessary your mother's confirmation of the citizenship.
