UK, Ireland / First proper "Polish" School in the UK - The Next Stage of Ghettoisation [283]

I'd say the closeness of the UK, Ger, NL, Belgium is much greater than the differences between the aforementioned and anywhere east of Germany.

I've known Germans and Dutch who live here, integrated 100% speak perfect English and exhibit traits found in Brits, Americans Aussies.
Order a Mcdonalds in London, Amsterdam, Berlin you'll most probably get a smile and a please and thank you.

The Poles are very foreign to us in the UK.
I find Poles, Russians slightly "wierd"

Please leave your high horse Magdalena. I never stated they were the same country. I naturally assumed there would be some very close similarities because of the common Slavic ethnicity, the similar language, and common post war communist past.

Merged: I think Czechs are better Immigrants than Polish

In my humble limited experience i find Czech people are more warm, polite and easy going than their abrupt, rude Polish counterparts.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'd expect people of these nations to behave quite similar
What is the differences? Culture? Education system setup differently?

UK, Ireland / Fertile Polish Women in the UK [87]

This thread isn't about Beenfits or even Immigration.
It's about the incessant breeding that goes on once they get here.

Who are you rozumiemnic ?

Let me take a wild stab in the dark. British Pole-Wannabe Ancestry. Inspired of course.. Great Great Grandad was from Poland?

UK, Ireland / Hitler gagdets in Britain and Poland? [24]

This is just the same as comedians making jokes about Hitler and Jews on the TV. It's called a Sick Joke

In countries like Germany, Poland and Israel this might be completely unacceptable but not here.

UK, Ireland / Fertile Polish Women in the UK [87]

Something is in the air, or perhaps our water. As Polish women far out-breed their British and other foreign nationality peers in the United Kingdom.

I'm not one to believe facts and statistics, i like to find my own truth, as it were.

Some Searching led me to the main forum for Polish Mothers. Naturally i scroll down to the "International" section.
What do i find stickied at the top? with 94572 Views, and 1,126 replies?? - Sticky: Benefits and Benefits in the UK
Closely followed by Sticky: social issues in Ireland
The stickied thread titled Sticky: allowances for a child born in Germany Only has 28 replies. This is a country with a land border with Poland.

In 2010 the three countries with the highest number of births to mothers from outside the UK
were Poland, Pakistan and India. Between 2001 and 2006 Pakistan, India and Bangladesh were
consistently the three most common countries of birth for non-UK born mothers. However in 2007,
Poland replaced Bangladesh as the third most common country, rising to second place in 2008 and
first place in 2010. Poland first appeared in the top 10 most common countries of birth for non-UK
born mothers in 2005 when it was ninth. In 2001 there were 896 live births in England and Wales to
Polish born mothers, compared with 1,830 in 2004 when Poland joined the EU and 19,762 in 2010

Even a Pole Himself has noticed this Phenomenon.

There's a million Poles living in the UK, yet we struggle to find any of them speaking on an "Polish - UK" English language forum.

This speaks a thousand words in itself.

You'll find them all here - mojawyspa.co.uk/forum Discussing Benefits, Where the local Polski Sklep is, and moaning how terrible our NHS, Food, Beer, Weather is.

rozumiemnic

well I don't know, last time I had a few pints of IPA I spent the evening vomiting.
give me a good cold Tyskie or similar any day.

Doesn't have to be an IPA or anything particular fancy.
Why don't you check out the bottles in your local Asda or Tescos. Newcastle Brown is quite famous

Or if you don't like that style, get some Leffe Blonde, or some German weissbier.

Just because you're Polish doesn't mean you need to drink a Polish brand al the time in a foreign country.

Are you even Polish btw? There's alot of wannabes here.

They wont even drink our beer.

Britain makes some of the finest proper ales known to man.
We have beer from all over the world in our supermarkets,

Yet they still insist on drinking that mediocre lech or Tyskie because it's Polish.
I won't knock it. It tastes liek Stella Artoi

Polska Stong!!

They don't need to integrate.

They have their Polish friends at work
They have their Polish TV at home
They have their Polski Sklep to shop in

Translator available for important things like Benefit claims and NHS treatment.

If you take a look at their Polish language UK Community websites, it is practically rife with requests for the Polish GP
Gynecologist, Optician, Salon, Lawyers, Mechanics, etc etc.

They even have Polish driving instructors here.

They're trying to create little Poland here in the UK. Quite perverse.

Work / Average wage in Poland (towns / cities) [23]

I wasn't joking about the single mothers terri.

There is a frighting amount of Polish and other EU Single Mummies in this country.

Having babies are like their national past time in this

You would think being a foreigner in a foreign land, with the sole purpose to earn some money would have babies very low down on their priority list.

The opposite is true, they absolutely LOVE having babies here and the reason becomes evident.

Are you a member of the negroid race?

If not, would you be happy if Britain was majority non white, but Polish free?

You're Irish? I'd expect Poles on here to be mentioning peoples race more than anything, not Westerners like you and me.

Not sure where you're coming from, Ireland is being screwed over by EU Immgirants just as much as the UK

I think every nationality has done it. But no way near the amount per capita as the Poles do in Britain.

urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=polski%20sklep

These have sprung up all over the UK in recent years with the huge influx of Poles, even in those areas where they are outnumbered by other ethnic communities, (such as Tooting in London).

What? On arrival in a foreign country seek out a "British shop", and if none existed open one up?
Utter Garbage.

I lived in Aus for a year after i finished Uni, also spent 5 months living around SE Asia. Not once did i want to find "British" products.

British food is boring anyway.

Does you logic apply to Jews and their Kosher food markets or when Irish pubs open up all over Poland?

British/Irish style pubs exist all over the planet because people love them and our pub culture is known worldwide.
Quite different to a small community of immigrants needing some sort of convenience store close to home to do their grocery shopping,

Kosher food markets hmm.. I've never come across these.. however no doubt they exist in shithole suburbs of our cities, just like Halal. -
Is Pickled Cabbage a religions requirement for Polish people?

Really poor attempt at comparison and counter argument.

I'll give you some help though. Why once spotted a "British Supermarket" on the Greek Island Corfu. Albeit it was for expats, and it was the only store in existence in the whole Island.

It only takes a few hundred Polish in a community to warrant the "Polski Sklep". Even in small seaside towns.

Normal people have come to this country for years and just shopped normally in supermarkets, shops and markets.
Poles feel they need to maintain their Polishness at every opportunity. It comes from their deep rooted self-shame and xenophobic aversion to trying new food.

Only Polish branded tinned fish, and Percil washing up powder is acceptable

1. What is the change that is going to happen on 1 May 2011?
The Worker Registration Scheme ('WRS') will no longer exist.
Any A8 national will be able to access income-based Jobseeker's
Allowance, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit by signing on as
a jobseeker at Jobcentre Plus and meeting the requirements imposed
on British Citizen jobseekers.

I don't think how any sane human being could make such an underestimate let alone a politician.

We'll never know the true figure. The media and government always seem to lie and underestimate.

I'd hazard a guess the real figure of total EU immigration today is closer to 2million (Poland, Lithuania, Romania etc)

Today there are about 5,000 Polish citizens who are of Black African origin. Historic backgrounds vary, although they are typically either refugees or children of racially mixed couples. They are almost exclusively located in the major cities of Warsaw and Kraków.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Africans_in_Poland

You can understand the racism, they're not used to people with different colored skin. There's a documentry on youtube about Polish Immigrants arriving here, one lady was interviewed and she said she was "Frightened" of the Black people

Most Black people in the UK are 100% British Born and raised here.
They are my countrymen and belong here in Britain.

Foreign-Speaking, Racist, Backwards Parasites do not belong here :)

Your racism is just a prime example of the cultural differences between those people east of Germany and us Westerners in the 21st century.

UK, Ireland / Irish Census and number of Polish [46]

A few years ago i would have congratulated Ireland for being a beautiful small populated nation with mostly 95% Irish people and Irish culture.

I have written off the UK many years ago. The recent influx of Poles and Romanians are just formalities now.

However Ireland had a chance, to maintain it's nationhood and people.

Quite sad to hear you're just another EU Cesspit now.
