yep, but only because of China's population, my friend (I'm talking world wide).
wow, we finally agree to something, however please tell your countrymen in Chicago to finally learn English (whole bunch of them don't know it at all). I've met a woman from Chicago and after over 30 years in this country, her English was much worse than my Polish.

PennBoy, you're dumb as a bag of rocks. Do yourself a favor and shut the hell up. You live here and prosper (more or less) so show at least a little bit of respect to the country that gave you the opportunity to live better than you ever lived in Poland. Most of you "travel" only because you can't find any jobs back home, that's all. As far as younger Poles being well educated, well some are and some are not. Besides, education alone doesn't make anyone smart. The only reason why we (as a nation) don't speak foreign languages is simple, almost anywhere we go, people speak English.

PennBoy HAHA other way around silly boy. The level is 3 to 4 grades behind Poland. Polish 8th grade grads know the same or more math, history and science than American high school grads. Only American universities are better and that's a fact (money)

A Yank (any nationality here) is a Yank and not a true Pole. He can be an American of Polish ancestry, that's all. Whether he/she should respect the country of his ancestors, everyone has to decide it for himself. It's good to be aware of where one is originally from and show some respect too but no one should be looked down to just because he feels American, German etc. and because he has developed feelings for the country he's born and raised in. I personally see it as ridiculous for someone who's born and raised abroad to call himself a Pole (any nationality). If one considers himself a Pole, he should move to Poland and live there (I'm not talking about people who are born and raised in Poland and who just left Poland to make some money and go back).

The question should be, why are Polish restaurants not successful in the world. If it's such a great food then why almost no one else likes it other than the Poles? Your food is not entirely bad, few things are OK but it will never be popular in most of other countries.

crappy explanation based on ignorance as we have farmer's markets all around the US and anyone who's willing to spend few bucks more, can eat healthy products on daily basis.
in USA it probably tastes like shyte cos its made with factory farmed ingredients and meat pumped full of hormones, etc
