This is:

It should be 100% in favor of shooting and killing trespassers as they approach the red line

@Alien

Try it as a stand alone sometime. Bet you'd like it. I had an Australian Shiraz the other night by The Black Stump. Very nice.

Went from 55% in September to 63% now, Novi. That's a big bump in such a short time.

Here's some current polling done by CBS News and Yougov. Two organizations that cannot be accussed of being rightist in any way, shape, or form.

While the 20th century produced some awful utilitarian architecture, there was a lot of great stuff too. Art Deco, for example, is gorgeous. Great balance and symmetry and elegant lines. Wonderful use of materials.

I've only tried Muscat once, and it was very very sweet also.

Dry bordeaux is nice.

You like shiraz? Probably my favorite grape.

PAK, what city were you born and raised? You can tell me to get lost and not answer that, but I ask because your posts remind me of people from where I grew up.

So there's both usefulness

Not to mention the design allows for plenty of natural light. If anyone has ever spent time in an office, you'll know natural light is to die for in most office buildings.

Not sure I'd call this building beautiful or ugly.

I'm surprised it survived. Was the taste altered drastically? Have you ever tried a vacuum stopper instead if a cork to cork after opening? They work pretty good at preserving the taste.

You prefer sweet wines, Alien?

I opened a 2021 Pillastro from Puglia last night. A mildly dry wine soft tannins and berry notes. A smooth joyful wine.

I don't have any great idea and just find something quotidian.

Even the quotidian is interesting. 🙂

Brothers in Arms: 1919

Torqi, do you know the year the two pictures in your post were taken?

You can sense their pride in their countenance and posture, even in their old age.

.

They murder each other so it's not about revenge for slavery.

True, but it's not because they are black, either. Has more to do with socio-economics.

Whites and Asians murder a lot also

Still feel that you and they are "the human race"?

Absolutely. Of those blacks who murder how many are African immigrants? Immigrants from Africa have some, if not the, lowest crime rates of all sets and subsets, yet they are blacker than American blacks.

The problem with the American-black who commits crime is the same as the white: he or she most probably comes from a one-parent or abusive family.

And, this is where the leftism comes in: they created and maintain a subsidy for these families, aka the welfare state.

I flipping love that city.

If I wasn't lazy and "busy" with work right now, I'd include a oicture if the Obelisk at Cytadela where over 5,000 Soviet soldiers are buried.

@Bobko

The immigration I'm speaking against isn't legal immigration, it's illegal immigration.

Wish I had time to explicate, but I must go and try to form my son and his peers into something that resembles a basketball team.

. But you guys are also overlooking something. The capacity of people to fall in love with this country, over time.

Of course, but to leave it to whim is a dangerous gamble, especially in today's neo-Marxist environment. It's better to shape immigrants by teach ing them American citizenship. We don't do that anymore. Unfortunately, too many never leave the anti-Western marches or parties that celebrate anti-American presidents like you did. There are less Bobkos out there, and too many Ihlan Omar's.

Besides, immigration should be done within the framework of the law. That ain't happenin' on the Southern border.

It sounds like a make believe conspiracy, but those cases exist. To compare past immigration to America to what is happening today is comparing apples with rhinoceroses.

@Bobko

What you're missing in your analysis Bobko is two extremely important points. The two points that make all the difference.

1. Much of the immigration that was happening prior to the 90's was controlled and legal. If my memory serves me correctly, net illegal immigration didn't start until 1990's-I may be incorrect and it started in 80's, but it wasn't near the numbers we see now.

2. This is the big one: today's immigrant isn't met by an American system that encourages, let alone demand, assimilation. We do not have the internal mechanisms we once did that turned immigrants into patriotic American citizens. Hell, our schools cater to the non-English speaking students by instructing them in Spanish or not demanding English proficiency.

I'll never stop hoping. I'll never become a cynic, Novi. Social renewal is the key to economic sanity. Without it, we continue the same behaviors. Well grounded principles are needed to guide how we organize ourselves. If we continue this disordered way of organizing ourselves , that debt will continue to balloon.

@Joker

I had very low expectations for Biden, but he has been exponentially worse than expected.

I cannot think if a President who was so under-qualifies for the job. Hell, he wasn't qualifies for the job even in his "prime", which didn't even rise to the level of mediocrity. He's been a glad-handing snake oil salesman his entire life. An indecent opportunist-I mean, who would have the gall to use the deaths of his wife and children for political points like he has for 50 years?

Unfortunately, his presidency is a reflection of our social erosion.

I'm hoping we experience some kind of social renewal that will usher in good effective leaders who will somehow resurrect the ghosts of our founding.

I am such a mean sob..

And a poet for those of us who rail against the insanity of the Neo-Marxist. 😀

You are wasting your time

Pawian is who he is, I just thought I'd take a stab at setting the record straight.

Hiw are things over in England, Milo?

I have a bathroom sink to fix, so I don't have time to give any details, but here's a link to Pew research surveying the issue this past summer. Notice that 62% of dems think government isn't doing a good job on Southern border.
