News / What is wrong with Poland that Poles emigrate? [167]

Most of it is directed at us don't you think Daisy?

No I don't agree with you, I see it come from all directions to all people. One of the worst offenders at the moment is an Englishman who talks like something out of a Jane Austin novel

actually...not being one to cause offence...but a lot of the people saying 'got any spare change' tend to come from Teashoci's part of the world..

UK, Ireland / Warning to British people visiting Poland!! Don't get drunk and smash the place up! [447]

too much cider... and small town mentality

yeah absolutely, what AA Gill referred to as Agriyobs, upset the locals that one did.

A girl where I work, once said that her boyfriend was only a little bit rascist, apparently that's OK, she doesn't speak to me now and I'm not losing any sleep over it

Genealogy / Vintage Photos of Polish ancestors [144]

Thanks for sharing these with us Patrycja, I love looking at old photos. I have a shelf of children's photos in my living room, the oldest is my great grandmother aged four taken sometime in the 1870s.

Keep em coming Pat, I for one will never tire of looking at them
