Food / Eating Kielbasa - how do you cook yours? [119]

Looking for some help, trying to differentiate what types/regional versions of kiełbasa are good for grilling and what types are good as a cold cut. A list of all the different types of kielbasy would be great!

EG:

Kiełbasa Śląska -grill
Kielbasa Żywiecka - cold cut
Kielbasa Toruńska - grill?
Kielbasa Krakowska- cold cut
etc......
dziękuje!

Genealogy / Polish person's average height? [210]

I am 5'1 (156 cms) so a bit of an outlier there! My babcia's side was pretty short though while my Dziadek was very tall, all my cousins are very tall as well. My sister is very similar height to me while my dad is just short of average height

Australia / Polish Tutoring Options in Melbourne [77]

I'd love to learn Polish, my dad never sent me to Polish school cos he thought it wasn't necessary, but then I couldn't speak with my own Babscia! What makes it worse is that I lived in Warszawa as a kid/young teen and never really learned properly plus I have dual nationality with a Polish passport lol

My Polish side of the family, we all speak English anyway, it makes me feel that I have lost some of my "Polishness" and culture.
