When my first daughter turned 11, I asked her if she knows what menstraution was. She said. no so I told her.

And at that age many girls are already menstruating. But I guess at least your daughter found out before she had it. Many kids don't.

And most parents don't talk about those issues. Period. They don't feel comfortable doing it and they don't have the knowledge.

No, it doesn't. If anyone is delusional it's you. Teaching kids for example that there are private parts in their bodies that nobody can ask them to show is sex ed for example.

Sorry but I don't believe there is a chance of a pregnancy in 10yo not carrying a risk.

That view is scary. I think a lot of men how big a thing pregnancy and birth is. No 10yo should be forced to do it.

I didn't hear about the man before he was killed . I didn't do any research on him after either so I can't discuss his general views but the 10 yo situation puts me firmly on the opposite side.

While I would not wish what happened on him my companion did go down after I saw interview with him where he said he accepts certain deaths as a price for gun possession.

You obviously do since you called her a hypocrite and that would only make sense if you thought she would feel differently about such actions in case of heterosexual priest. Her opinion on his actions are not based on his sexuality but what he does with it.

And she does make sense. She has certain standard of behaviour in a priest regardless of whether he is gay or straight.

As to callings - church likes it role and Influence. Hard to do if you can't keep parishes running
